This looks super fun. My company isn't known for bonding excursions. I wish I was at a company like that.

This is the first company I've worked for where they place an importance on workplace culture, treating employees like an investment rather than robots, and encouraging a family/camaraderie atmosphere. While work is stressful, it really makes me actually want to come to work every day and hang out with "family." I think it's definitely helped--we're plowing through our queue today!

Front line tech support during a re-deploy is a thankless job! Glad they kept your outing instead of canceling. What movie are you seeing? I also go with the chicken ricotta meatballs at the Alamo...they are not as tasty as the warm cookies that used to be my go to, but still pretty good!

I hope it's good. I hate, hate, hate zombies but a few years ago some of my friends persuaded me to go to a midnight showing of Zombieland...they spent more time watching me watch the movie than watching the actual movie...but I did like it. It is the only zombie thing I will watch.

Good morning JB and Menuers,

Woke up to thunder and lightning and a crappy cool fall rainy day. I want to be in bed to bad it is only Wednesday.

QOTD: I tried to learn Piano and my mom forced it on all of us kids so no one actually got any good at it. The day she realized we were just in the basement eating the Christmas cookies that were in the freezer and not really practicing she let us stop.

Accountability : Not a great week. I got lots of appointments and stuff I got to do for my Mother so the gym is out of the question till next week (Does it count I feel really guilty and can't wait to get back) I also changed up dinner to Blueberry Chaffles I was craving sweet for dinner last night and as always my spoon fell into that damn peanut butter jar and I ate a couple handfuls of fresh blueberry's. Bright side Great on Water and Vitamins.

Good morning~ That photo!! I could've sworn that was me. Yesterday was not a great success, but better than the weekend. I skipped the gym because my body is sore from our 9 hour road trip the other day - my hips are still screaming at me. I'm also dehydrated w/a nasty headache so I will work on that today. I ate on plan until I got home then ate some dumb stuff. Plan today is to stay on plan.

QOTD - Nothing other than basic music class diddlings.... I grew up with a piano in the house but never learned to formally play. I regret that so much. When we are able to buy our own home, I am getting a piano!

Accountability - I was awesome until 5 pm when I skipped the gym and ate carbs

Ex - gym - interval training in mah awesome new shoes!

I feel like the meme!

QOTD- My Mom forced us to take piano lessons when I was a kid, after she got rid of the piano and we quit I always wished I had learned. I took flute and played from 5th grade through high school. In high school I learned to play the Alto Sax and was in the stage band, I also played the piccolo. I still have my flute and occasionally dig it out and play, but I'm definitely not as good as I was.

I made a Costco run last night and didn't make it to the hospital. Today I have the pest control people coming between 4-6pm to deal with my rat issue. I have a hole in the foundation vent where the heat pump wires go through and a rat has decided that it's much warmer and more comfy in my crawlspace than out in the wild. So I've been hearing these noises, and yes was told it is rats. I finally got the hole plugged and I've had traps under the house and outside it and I don't believe the rat is under the house any longer. I should know by tonight, I'm hoping it's outside.

My roommate is still in the hospital, and I'm not sure how long he'll be there. Also he says he's hungry, I think it's head hunger but I can't really say. I know I don't really feel hunger anymore, not like I used to. It's definitely different than pre-op.

I'm still really tired, and have no energy. I'm hoping that changes soon, I did sleep pretty well last night but I'm still behind on sleep. I need to find a way to deal with my anxiety and depression, whether it's another medication or just gutting it out like I have been doing.

Have a great day everyone!

I am sorry to read that your roommate is still in the hospital. I am sure it isn't making the rat situation or the emotional health any easier to carry by yourself. I hope you can get some rest.
