I clicked "like" because of your meme...not all the bad news :( I am sorry to hear about the various ailments your friends and family are dealing with, and of course the loss of a family member.
I love Leah Remini too! Kris and I watched the entire series of King of Queens over about a year...she is freaking fantastic. I read her book too and it was so in her own voice. I have never seen her show where she outs various "cults" but I am sure it's interesting.

I adore Leah like you wouldn't believe! I got Rob into KofQ too and we quote it all the time -so friggin funny! Yes - I've seen her cult show - it's crazy and interesting and sad - but so fascinating. I didn't used to understand how people could believe such things - especially someone like her - this street smart no bull**** type girl... It was very eye opening. The special she did on the Jehovah's blew my mind too.

Happy Tuesday. So work has been . . . interesting. I don't know that I'm longed for this job. At the moment, I'm on day 4.5 of having absolutely nothing to do. Nothing. Not a single project. I've told the two partners and they said they'll remedy it, but I don't know. I've been discussing the situation with my recruiter and am responding to other job ads, so we'll see. It makes my day hard since all I want to do is snack to pass the time. Trying to be as healthy as possible.
QOTD: That is a super hard question, but maybe Meryl Streep. I love how she can redefine herself for every role.
My plan:
B: 3.5 oz leftover steak
L: chicken thigh meat
D: salmon
S: homemade latte, an apple (or two . . . they're small but delish. I went apple picking on Saturday so they're fresh from the tree) and I'm doing everything in my power to resist a thin slice of the banana bread I baked on Friday. The loaf is sitting in the work kitchen.

Hang in there Stacy, the right fit is out there!
I love Meryl - jus****ched Devil wears Prada for the 100th time the other day - she absolutely morphs into her character - fabulous in every kind of role.

Yikes that is not a good feeling. Sorry... But on the plus side, if you do have a break between jobs, please do it right this time and relax, refresh, and renew yourself! ((I hear trips to Boston really help with that, BTW!))

I am so impressed by Meryl Streep as an actress. I really prefer using that word to using the word 'actor' for everyone - 'actress' doesn't have to mean Harvey Weinstein chased you around the couch (and caught you). Catherine Hepburn, Lauren Bacall, etc. - awesome actresses, all.
Also, Streep grew up in my neck of the woods, very close by in an identical sort of town. So I feel a kinship even though she was a cheerleader in HS and I was a distinctly wildchild, arty type.
