What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Love the posts today! JB, love the glasses! I have called the place where I get the eye exam and ask for that number - they will tell you. I get glasses for Kris and Ethan online all the time. I also set a reminder for 51 weeks after their exam to order new pairs since their vision doesn't really change and that way we have two years worth of glasses off of one exam LOL.
Favorite sandwich...it's a total 3-way tie for me. A grilled cheese (I know, it knocked you down, but so good), an Ever Roast chicken with mayo, munster cheese, avocado, red onion on sourdough, OR, maybe my most favorite ever: a fresh pita out of the oven with hummus, tahini, mini pickles, red onion, falafel and spicy spicy harissa.
No pics today - frankly I am somewhat depressed about the pics from the wedding we went to last weekend. The regain just stares me in the face!
B: 3 oz boar's head ever roast, 2 oz goat cheese. After my iced coffee, of course.
L: Will be working from Panera so maybe broccoli cheese soup and half chicken ceasar salad. We had the Costco street tacos last night and I am envious that Kris gets to have them today lol.
D: SUPER SPLURGE. I bought 3 ginormous cooked king crab legs at Costco. I googled how to reheat them, but I may eat them cold - I love ordering the crab on ice at fancy restaurants and dipping them in butter. Hot or cold, they are going to be AMAZING. It's probably either 2 or 3 servings, depending on how much meat is inside. Yum.
E: No time, but boot camp tomorrow.
Have a fab weekend, everyone!
Good morning and HAPPY FRIDAY!
QOTD - My sandwich is super simple...LOL! I like sourdough bread, toasted with butter and avocado, sea salt, red pepper flakes and olive oil drizzled on top. Tomatoes, but only really ripe and red.
The picture I am posting is what someone made for me for my birthday. If you knew me IRL, you would know this is appropriate AF!
Breakfast - Not sure, possibly a veggie sausage patty and fruit smoothie
Lunch - Leftover veggie lasagna
Snack - celery, peanut butter and avocado slices
Dinner - Remedy smoothie (ready made) with almond milk and yummy stuff.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend!

Good morning!
My appointment yesterday went well. I was diagnosed with ptsd from a childhood trauma. I spent the night feeling like I betrayed myself and the kid I used to be. Today I feel better, still a bit weird but better. Things make a bit more sense.
qotd:veggies deluxe. Everything but jalapeños. Maybe a few slices of bacon!
an older pic and something I just finished up...going to be an ornament.

Good morning. A big NSV/bucket list for year goal**** last night. One was to get on skates again. Bam. Went to the Blackhawks opener last night (lost against the flippin 0-4 Sharks), but at least the Preds won!!! As part of our season ticket purchase (mini package), we got the free "fan experience night." So got dinner, skating, lockeroom tour/facility tour and a signed picture. Was pretty neat, especially for free.
QOTD - a sandwich from my youth that I would love to make, but haven't in many years. Thanksgiving leftover sandwich. Any good break, leftover - turkey, stuffing, yams, cranberry jelly, slice of swiss cheese. That was the best part of my thanksgiving dinner - just to get that sandwich.
Got home late from game, so workout is later today (no pre wo food)
B - 2 egg, 2 turkey bacon, 1/2 cup apple oatmeal (free oatmeal day on Friday)
L - 3.5oz chicken, small salad, apple
S - 1 oz dried salami; ounce cheese
D - 3 oz roast pork, small salad
S - some type of fruit with a few nuts
PS - I'm sitting in front of Alex DeBrincat's jersey. I told my friend - hey, he's the same size as me 54 (Canadian size)
HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)
