TGIF! What a week. JB, hope you are feeling better after a restful weekend. Sorry to read your plans had to change because of it.
We don't have a 3 day weekend but we are camping! DH and I both took half days and plan on leaving 1 minute after I get home, LOL. We are going to a state park on the Eastern Shore of MD, about an hour away. It is one of our most favorite places to go because it is so quiet and restful. I plan on being lazy, reading a lot and taking Max for long walks. On Saturday we are going to The Apple-Scrapple Festival in Bridgeville, DE and on Sunday when we return we have to go to NJ for my Dad's birthday dinner. Even though it sounds like a lot of running around it is going to be just what we need.
QOTD: A Cuban sandwich with extra pickles!
B: PP shake
MS: apple and cheese
L: ?
D: pork chop, green beans, and mashed sweet potatoes
I have no pictures this week.
Enjoy your weekend!
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Happy Friday! I am looking forward to a 3 day weekend with my hubby. My daughter Madeline is coming home tomorrow and we are going to a Harvest Festival. I love fall!
I have been up since 3 am. The electricity went out and it woke me up when it came back on. I am up now sitting in front of the fire, drinking coffee, burning my new fall Bath and Body Works candle.
Yesterday was hard. I cried last night, like the ugly cry. I didn't mean to. I was just talking to my hubby about my day and it all just fell out. I am feeling frustrated with many things. I need a new job. I am just burned out. I have lost my work joy! 16 years is a long time to work somewhere. I should of taken that job last year that I was offered! What was I thinking! I did not eat my feelings though. I thought about popcorn and then talked myself out of it. I didn't eat dinner either. Just didn't feel hungry.
QOTD-
Seeded brown bread, cream cheese, pesto, sprouts, cucumber, red pepper, thin sliced Boars Head Cracked Pepper Turkey, red onion with a big dill pickle.
This is the newest member of our family. My daughter and son in law adopted a rescue last weekend. Her name is Penelope, but we call her Nellie for short. She is the sweetest girl ever! She is a lab/Shepherd mix they think.
My daughter is in love!
Food for today-
1 egg, 3 oz black forest ham, onion, green pepper, mushroom, low carb wrap
shredded chicken with pico and hot sauce
cottage cheese with EBB seasoning
Baked halibut, broccoli
Lots of water and hot tea. I am loving all the fall tea flavors.
I am hoping for a walk today, but its windy and cold. So, I will do the elliptical.
