What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
on 10/9/19 1:50 am
Gooooood morning! OMG, the last two days have been so insanely busy. And we haven't even ramped into our busy season yet. I was better about eating yesterday but completely dropped the ball on drinking.
My self care level is = toddler.
Another day when I barely had time to come back and read responses. I just saw enough to say--who are you people who don't buy music?? Really!? I have an iTunes library that is bursting at the seams. If I hear it, and I love it...I own it!
Accountability: I ate 3/4 of what I brought for lunch, ZERO water, and skipped the gym because my new glasses were ready to pick up. Pics to come on Photo Friday!
QOTD: Do you sprawl out on the bed when you sleep alone? I am a total sprawler! Poor Grim comes to bed after me and has to reign me back to my side so he gets his spot. I am like a cat... I may be small, but I manage to take up the entire bed.
Exercise: Nada. It's pouring, so I have to take the stupid bus... and no time for the gym.

G'morning JB & menuers,
It's about 11:00 am here and I'm sitting in the dentist office for minor repairs. It occurred to me I have never had to pay for dental work with both my dad and brother being dentists. I remember a while back Jen mentioned she'd rather go to obgyn than a dentist. It made me laugh because for me the dentist office is home.
My coffee intake while here has been tripled! Every time I turn around somebody is offering me a coffee. Even at my brother's office first thing they do while you are waiting they offer you an espresso. I'm in heaven.
Dont know if you guys have heard of PG&E and what's going on in CA. Of course it's all happening while I'm away. I still get the alerts from PG&E and water companies so I'm freaking out all the way here while DH & DS are chill, to the point they haven't even bought extra water. Supposedly there are loooong lines of cars to get gas, seems like Armageddon!
My meals have been all over the place but I'm sticking to protein and veggies and keeping track of it on MFP. I also got a pair of cheap leggings so I can go on walks in the mornings while mom is being lazy and sleeping in.
Hope you all have a great Wednesday when you wake up! Weird to know I'm up with JB! ;)

Espresso at the dentist office? That's it. I am officially converting to Italian...
Yes I have been following the CA situation...ahhhhhh! I feel like the whole country should be more prepared for situations like this to come in the next several years. And I am going to be even worse off than your kids because, as previously mentioned, my self care levels at the best of times are...not awesome.

I had not heard of PG&E so I googled it. That's crazy!
Edit
This was just on the East Coast news, interesting and scary at the same time.
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

What is going on in CA and water? I probably am living under a rock. I am going a million ways with the kids and life these days.

When we visited Italy last year, we had a coffee granita which was essentially an espresso snow cone and it was divine. I need on this morning!

Italians are very strict weather wise. As soon as it's September/fall they are in fall mode so the granita you couldn't find it now. Yesterday the temps were in the 70s so I wore a T-shirt, and my mom told me I'm crazy. Out and about everybody was wearing heavy jackets and scarves! I understand calendar wise it's fall but jeez it's in the 70s! My mom says I have become too American! :)
