9 days post op, already over protein shakes.

I enjoyed SF jello, SF pudding and tomato soup. I added Boost unflavoured protein powder to almost everything I ate in the liquid phase.

My big purchase was an ice cream machine that had its own compressor and I used that to turn my protein shakes into protein ice cream.
I also made a lot of things with ricotta cheese. I never followed the recipes on Eggface, but I would put a scoop of ricotta on a plate, add a tablespoon or so of tomato sauce and microwave it for a lasagna type dish.
I made flaxseed Muffin in a Mug as a replacement for almost anything.
1/3 cup flaxseed meal
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
Add whatever other ingredients needed and then microwave in a cereal bowl for about 1 minute.
Mix all together and then get creative. To eat with fish, i would add garlic and cheddar cheese
To have a "brownie" I added sweetener, vanilla, and cocoa
For blueberry muffin, I added sweetener, vanilla, and blueberries
For apple muffin, I added thinly sliced apple, cinnamon, and sweetener.
What this gives is a large muffin and for a long time I would have to divide it into two or three different meals.
Protein shakes are easy, but not magic. If you don't drink them, then you will have to work harder to make sure you are getting your required protein. You really need to eliminate flour, sugar, rice, potatoes, and cereal. Track everything and aim for 100 grams of protein a day and a year from now you can be both slim and healthy.
