What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?
Morning all! This morning I wanted to throw my damn scale out the window! I've noticed a pattern and it's driving me crazy. I'll lose like 3-4 pounds in a week and then I stall or slowly go back up a couple pounds. Lose, stall, go up....lose, stall, go up! I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if this is normal? I have gotten stricter with my diet so that I can stay around 800 calories or less. Last night I didn't even eat the zoodle dish for dinner. Instead I had a premier shake. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get below 200 pounds? Getting discouraged.....sigh.
QOTD: I typically don't shop until around the end of the year. Usually start in November and finish up by December. I always say I'm going to shop throughout the year, but it never happens. I don't like waiting until the last minute and feeling frantic, but sometimes it turns out that way despite my best efforts.
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda and sugar free creamer
L: Maybe some turkey meatballs or tuna
D: zoodles w/chicken

Thanks! I guess I'm just impatient. But I know I didn't gain this weight overnight so it's gonna take some time to get off.

Your water weight should be at least 50% of your total weight. What percentage of your weight is water?
What is the weight of your muscle mass? If you are building new muscle, your weight will often increase.
What is the amount of your bone weight? What is your percentage of body fat?
Understand what is going on with your body is the key to really getting to and maintaining your own ideal weight.
I would throw that scale out and replace it with a smart scale. Then track body fa****er weight, muscle and bone weight.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I've never really thought about all of that. I didn't even know they made such a scale. Thanks for the info! Looking up a smart scale now!

Happy Weekend! I slept until 7:07 and it was wonderful. It is a gorgeous chilly fall day here. DH has been working outside cleaning up the garden and flower beds and I am busy inside doing to inside chores. After everything is done will are running errands, having a late lunch and going to church. Home early for another quiet evening at home.
QOTD: I shop throughout the year for Christmas. We don't but much anymore since there are only a few small children in our family now. I always buy for my parents and my MIL.
B: only coffee so far...
L: something out
D: depends on lunch
I will drink 100+ ounces of water, take all of my vitamins and take Max for a walk after errands.
Have a great day!

Good morning! I slept until 6:45! We've already been to Starbucks and the park. I'm about to get in the shower and head out on some errands soon. I have so many cuts on my fingers that there is no way I could get a mani today, oh well. As for yoga, that isn't happening either. I have a ton of things I want to do around the house. Rob started feeding what he thought was a stray cat and now he is stalking us and trying to get in the house. Turns out it's our neighbors cat but doesn't wear a collar. He is small and skinny. My son keep taking him back to his house. They told him he is 15 and has some health issues. Rob is so mad that they aren't taking better care of him.
QOTD - I haven't started yet- I'm Nov/Dec usually. I think about it throughout the year, but I'm not quite that organized!
Accountability - great

I was another early riser 5AM, but I tried to ignore it and couldn't fall back asleep. My cat was telling me he was starving. So I read for a while and when I could no longer ignore him I got up and fed him.
It's cold and foggy this morning, definitely fall. My roommate is still in the hospital and they told him it would probably be for 2-3 nights. He's a diabetic and also SMO. It will take time for him to recover, so I will head up to the hospital later. With the lack of sleep I finally realized today how much I depend on my roommate for support. He always makes me laugh and makes my life better in many ways. We were in a romantic relationship about 7 years ago, but I believe we are better off as friends. He is an excellent cook, his mother was a caterer and we enabled each other to gain weight. We were a bad influence on each other oh donuts at midnight lets go, I managed to gain 140lbs and he did as well. Now I have lost 118lbs and will not go back. I can't repeat the behavior that got me to WLS.
The scale was kind and I am edging ever so slightly towards my goal. I need to get my workouts in and have been severely neglecting them.
QOTD- Only my Mom and friend to shop for and honestly we really don't need anything.
Have a great Saturday everyone!
