Happy Friday at last everyone!! Tomorrow I'm doing absolutely nothing. Sunday we are going out for dinner to celebrate my mom and brothers girlfriends birthday.

QOTD: my surgeons office has a support group that meets once a month and I remember being so excited about going because I thought it was cool to meet other people going through the same thing you are and to keep up with their struggles and progress etc. Well I haven't been to a single meeting. Lame excuse, but I just don't feel like going anywhere after work and I'd be rushing to make it on time anyway. Also it's all the way downtown and I just don't feel like dealing with that traffic.

B: premier shake

B2: coffee w/Splenda

L: salad

D: zoodle dish

Good morning, everybody!

I hope that the crew out at the conference is having a great time.

I have a busy day at work today. October 1st is the beginning of our fiscal year and usually the year starts off kind of slowly, but that's not the case this year. This weekend me and my youngest are scheduled to run in a 5-K road race. It is the replacement for the Bratwurst run that we were supposed to do. It looks like the weather is iffy, so we will see whether it is cancelled or not. Other than that we are going to a party on Saturday night. Oh, and I will make a non-symmetrical chaffle and post a picture of it. They are still yummy though.

If the weather is inclement, I wouldn't mind getting snuggly on the couch in front of a football game and just listening to the rain.

Picture is a repeat from Sunday, but its all I have this morning.

QOTD: I went to the September meeting. There were two other patients, both of whom were very nice. But the traffic getting from downtown to the suburb where the hospital is and then back home was horrendous. I think I am more likely to go back if I amat home or in the suburbs.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein Bar

Lunch: Chicken

Snack: Light and Fit

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

Bad Grim for not buying you a goat,JB. They are just SO cute. Tell him the cats need a friend! Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do another one later and a short walk at lunch. We did a bit over 5 miles yesterday but all the steps at work. The weather turned cold here. Yesterday it was 73 in the morning and today it is 45. A gradual change would have been nice. QOTD I attended support group almost monthly for the first year but the hour and 40 minute drive is just too much. Most people there are pre surgery or early post OP. They do have really good speakers and presentations though and it was very helpful. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 121.2 today. Here's the food plan for the day B 2/3c earnest eats hot cereal L 3 protein pancakes with sugar free syrup D 4 oz grilled shrimp and a couple slices grilled zucchini S probably none. Pics are from the wedding last Saturday. Have a great day full of healthy choices!

It's freezing up here too, Karen. When I went out this morning my tire pressure light was on. That sudden drop is supposed to be a winter thing.

Great pictures.

no pics for me this time

QOTD: I was going to support but it was over an hour away so it was very sporadic. and it was easier when I was working from home. once I started driving in and once my job ended that put a stop to that. Now that I'm in Chattanooga they have weekly meetings on Monday so I will start to go to those.

plans this weekend: going HOME after work. It has been since sunday so I'm ready! I have laundry to do, some dished that I wanted to put in home dishwasher. I REALLY need an oil change and the dogs need nails cut and baths.

food today: eating leftover type stuff- chicken, veggies, caulioats, not sure what else
