What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning~ Other than stupid drivers, my commute is uneventful. Yea, F the bus! Hang in there JB! I am struggling with anxiety/stress and wanting to feed it! I haven't given in, but I have started drinking diet soda. I know we aren't supposed to, but plain water is a struggle again and it's helping with the munchies. Say what you will, I'm enjoying them.
QOTD - No, I just don't have it in me to do that! I would be a staffer though and once considered doing that for our local senator during his campaign.
Accountability - great

some surgeons are fine with carbonation once you're healed (my surgeon isn't - but some are). My take on this is that if you're more than a few months out, and the carbonation doesn't bother your stomach, you're probably fine. I can't really drink it because the carbonation bothers me, but some people on here drink diet sodas with no problem

It was uncomfortable to the first few times, but it doesn't bother me anymore.

I'm struggling with feeding my anxiety and depression as well. Hope it improves soon for you!

Hang in there :)
...also, if diet soda is a post-op problem, then Grim should be dead. I think you'll be fine!

Love the meme JB, I feel like that most days!
QOTD- I am passionate about some issues but too introverted to want to run for elected office.
I'm at work but will be leaving in about an hour to take my roommate in for his RNY surgery. It should all go well, and I know he is looking forward to a new life.
I'm struggling today and had a bad day yesterday. Just felt really down and I couldn't find a cause other than being chewed out by my boss. I have most of my projects under control, so I wasn't very motivated to get much done yesterday. I work best under pressure and with concrete deadlines. I have so many projects that only the ones that are urgent get worked on.
Accountability- sugar happens and I need to not eat it. I can usually ignore the candies at work but by late night the munchies start and it is hard to resist.
Take care everyone and have a good Friday eve!

Good evening all.
yesterday?s visit with the NP didn?t really go all to well...to me anyway. He reassured me that I?m doing well. Something irked me when we talked about the BED. I feel like I?m screaming at the top of my lungs and no one else can hear me. I know a lot of folks don?t know much about it. The med I wanted to try he couldn't prescribe. He said he?d talk to the doctor but I doubt anything comes out of it. I understand the stance he had but I was emotional and just feel like no one gives a **** Ugh. I will say however that the emotional low hanging fog that increased when I started birth control is finally starting to ease.
qotd:nope...I don?t see that working for me where I live or anywhere for that matter. I?d be branded a heretic by the right for many reasons and be drug through the sewer lines by them. I?d most likely run as an independent or something as I?m not a huge fan of the two party system currently. I?m jaded and think most politicians(big time ones) are corrupt! LOL
had a big pouch day but also had some cashews I hadn?t planned on...oh and a slice of bread... Ugh.
