What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning!
QOTD: I love a good wedding! I have a wedding on October 20th for a young man I have known since he was born. In high school I tutored him in English and writing for about 3 years. He's like my son's little brother. It makes me really sad my son can't be here for it.
Food?
- B: Discovered this new internet thing of putting cauliflower rice in your oatmeal to bulk it up. Totally works but you have to use frozen cauliflower rice. This morning skipped the regular oatmeal part - cooked the rice in cashew milk and then stirred in Peanut Butter protein and some oat bran and flaxseed meal to thicken.
- L: salad, grilled chicken
- D: Miso glazed Salmon, roasted veggies
- S: yogurt, cantaloupe, protein
EX: Rest Day - I worked out at 8PM last night. That was crazy even for me. Actually had a good workout once my body woke up.

Mornin' All!
We had torrential rains here in southern Wisco last night. We actually go****er in our basement (not much - a puddle about a foot in diameter), which we've probably only had five times since we moved here 21 years ago. We live on a hill, so water in the basement is a rarity. In other words, it must have been bad. The rain has stopped - and I don't think they're calling for any more of the torrential variety today - so hopefully we won't have any more water seeping in....
Yesterday was pretty jam-packed - the rest of the week, not so much. Great - I can focus on packing. I'm already about 75% done. Last night I opened the travel Mah Jongg set my sister gave me - I think it will be perfect. There are three of us from our Mah Jongg group going (two of us regulars - and our sub), so we'll probably be playing some evenings at the hotel(s). Addicts. Today I have a pedicure and a vet appt - and....that's it.
QOTD: India! We leave on Saturday. Finally!!!
4 years 3 months out:
B: Plain Greek yogurt with homemade fruit compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: Salad with diced turkey and light dressing
AS: L&F yogurt with kiwi
D: Either half a Beyond Burger with a "slim" bun or a Beyond Sausage in a Flat Out Fold It wrap
have a great day, all!!

Good morning everyone. I am off today and having a quiet day at home with Josie. ( my dog) Looking forward to some fall cleaning and organizing.
My husband has a staff meeting today and I made pumpkin bread for him to take. There are a few pieces left. I am going to throw it away. I do not want to be tempted by it today while being home.
I am glad everyone is feeling better. So many people around me are sick.
I called my surgery center to set up my 3 year appointment yesterday for November. Apparently they are no longer are doing post op care. They have a FNP that they are work with now at another clinic. I have an appointment for next Monday. I am excited to meet her. Her bio looks promising.
QOTD- The weekend of the 25th of October we have rented a house at the Beach for my birthday and my son in laws birthday. All the kids will be there. I am looking forward to some time together.
Food for today-
3 oz black forrest ham and 1 egg
Costco kale/motzarella chicken burger with sauteed cabbage
Halibut with zoodles and pesto

Need to focus on water today. I only drank 70 ounces yesterday. I need to get back to the habit of drinking 40 ounces before I have my breakfast.
Headed out for a walk with Josie after it gets light.
