Good morning menu friends! Up and moving early so Lily and I can head out in a few minutes. Yesterday we did a total of 5 miles plus all the steps I did at work. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 121.4 today. QOTD nothing planned for fun. Here's the food plan for the day B 3 protein pancakes with sugar free syrup L 4 oz roast beef and cheese D 4 oz pork chop 3 bites green beans no snack. Have a wonderful day full of healthy choices! Later!
Good morning, everybody!
Look at that raccoon carrying the peanut butter! I've been there.
I googled "are racc" and immediately "are raccoons rodents?" popped up. For the record, raccoons are not rodents. That used to belong to the same taxonomy as bears, but now scientists have placed them in their own genus.
JB - do you ever go up to the White Mountains? I would so like to go hiking there again. It's tough for me to visit Massachusetts without visiting my family, so, unfortunately, unless I am spending a week, New England is off of the short trips list. My sister wants to rent a house on the Cape for all three siblings and our kids next year so I think that we are going to do that. I had wanted to go to Africa for our 30th wedding anniversary, but I think that will be pushed off until 2021.
Marilyn has cardio tennis tonight's I may go with her and try and run 5K. Seal Team starts again tonight, that's my favorite show.
QOTD: Next week I am have a work meeting in Houston and I am going to drive up to Waco to visit my daughter for the weekend. On Friday night, I am having dinner with her and her boyfriend and on Saturday we will go to the Baylor/Texas Tech football game. Since it's homecoming of her Senior year, she will run the line again. (that's when all the freshman come running out onto the field before the game in their matching yellow shirts).
Breakfast: Sausage
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Pork
Snack: Light and Fit
Dinner:TBD
Have a great day, all!

So I saw your reply that you are doing CrossFit. I shy away from class situations because that is where I tend to get injured. Follow all the CrossFit stuff on IG.
The trainer I use is also a CrossFit coach. So a lot of my workouts are what I would call CrossFit style. Especially the metcon stuff. If I want to google an exercise he has given me to do I google the name and tack CrossFit at the end to bring it up.

When I figure out how I am listed on the Crossfit Open, I will let you know how to look me up if you want to follow how it is going.
All of the workouts with names that are in my posts are crossfit, either "girls" which are benchmark workouts like Fran (21-15-9 of 95 pound thrusters and pull-ups) or "heroes" which are named after military or first responders from the crossfit community who died in the line of duty.
Our gym doesn't list its workouts on its website anymore, but on the main crossfit.com website all of the previous workouts are listed with videos for most movements.

No, I really haven't spent much time in the White Mountains. As a kid we kind of always skipped NH and went straight up to ME.
My cousin owns a bunch of really nice rentals on the Cape and MV, so lmk if you want a hook up for your summer trip!
