What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning menu friends! Busy weekend here too as we had our oldest son,Rudy's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and I'll share pictures Friday. I felt very awkward as her family is very different from ours but it was amazing seeing them both so very happy. They are definitely a case of 2 people being better together. Rudy has brains but is lazy and Dani is way too hard working and serious. Rudy slows her down and makes her have fun and she helps him focus and motivates him to do his best. Sounds like a win for both of them! Boy does her family drink--that's all I can say there. There were no fireworks between the bride's mom and her ex(Dani's dad) so that was good. It was encouraging to see that lots of people have dysfunctional families. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 121.2 today. We are now in Chatham at the distribution center for at least a week or maybe 2. Youngest son lawyered up Friday so his lawyer will submit workman comp papers today so we don't know our travel plans may end if he has surgery. Hubby wants to just drop our trips but I think we may just plan to go and when we need to leave we leave. I just don't want to be sitting at home with nothing to do but stress eat while we wait for a decision. Once he gets a decision he should be able to get in to the surgeon fairly quickly. Lily and I will get one long and 2 shorter walks in today and here's the food plan for the day B 2/3c earnest eats hot cereal L 4oz roast beef and cheese D 4 oz ground beef patty with cheese no bunS if needed 3 peanut butter crackers (other 3 are Lily's). Have a great day full of healthy choices!

G'morning everybody!
My week is only three days so I gotta pack in as much work as I can before I leave for OH on Thursday. I am sooo excited for the conference that is silly. Major attraction is meeting Cara, we are rooming together. My kids announced that my idea of being a gypsy at the conf costume party is cultural appropriation!!! Seriously? So I'm supposed to say I'm Esmeralda from the Hunchback because the G word is a slur!? Did you guys know this? It was total news to me.
As if the OH conf is not exciting enough I'm leaving on Sun from LA to Italy to have some R&R with my mom. Super excited about that one too.
QOTD: there was a sandcastle competition on the beach this weekend. The theme was Winnie the Pooh. I know a family that they get together (aunts and cousins) for a total of 50 people and build the most elaborate structures. They win almost every year. Very committed. I love going down and watch the almost final results before the judges arrive. The fury of activity is hilarious. This year there was more wind than expected and the waves kept crashing on the beach and destroying some of the castles even with all the sand walls they had put up to protect their sculptures.
Accountability: SF icecream...argh!
My meals for the day:
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- Chicken meatballs and asparagus
- Pulled pork
- Greek yogurt or parm cheese
Have a great start of the week!

Sheila,
Have a great time at the conference. I am hoping to maybe go next year.
Yep, this is a good one too.

The more you know! When you know better, you can do better. My grandma used to tell me the gypsies were going to come get me when I was a little kid. She was from England, not sure if that was a thing back then.
