I just made it past 50... but not how I wanted.

I got a cold that came back THREE times this month, and it eventually turned into strep throat & a sinus infection that I am treating with antibiotics. I have essentially been sick since the start of the month, so between the struggles of finding time with the new job (setting new routines) and getting stopped by illness, it has been a ridiculous struggle.

But this challenge has kept me conscious of movement and I have been happy to have the nagging reminder.

I'd like to try this same challenge in October and see if it is less of a struggle.

I knew I was consistent in my exercise, but I've never added up my mileage before.

If I added it up right, I'm thrilled to see I completed 100.47 miles to date and I'm going to knock out another 3 or 4 tomorrow as I've had 2 days off this weekend.

Thanks for arranging this JB! I'll continue to log in if everyone decides they want to do the same next month.

Yes, I'm in for Oct! I fell off Sept for a bit, so I'm not sure how I ended. I need to finish the spreadsheet. Oct should be way better.

My best guess is 40 + whatever I do tomorrow. I knew it would be way lower than 50. I will be more accountable in OCT!

I never knew how many miles I wog, so this challenge was an eye opener for me. I am so proud of myself. Unfortunately I can't do the Oct one because I'll be gone for half of the month but if we decide to do a Nov challenge I'm all in.

I chose to only log my run miles (not my elliptical or stairmaster miles) and I have to say having the challenge helped encourage me to add in some extra treadmill time! I was also able to "test" my body to see if I thought I could handle a 1/2 in early November. I signed up for it!
