Good morning everyone. I had very little sleep last night..maybe 3 hours combined. Sooooo it'll be an interesting day lol.
i had a disaster of a day food wise yesterday. The night time is very difficult for me. Ad to that my aunt is having a major issue that will require surgery soonish. She is a colon cancer survivor and it's an issue with incapsulated hernias around her stoma. Been scary as this will be her 4th surgery for the same issue.
also got my bloodwork done this week. A few things were off but I'm not sure what it all means. I know it shows I haven't been drinking enough!
qotd:not really into it. I like day of the dead stuff, sugar skulls and such. I do like the vintage halloween stuff!
b:PP shake
s:light string cheese
l:pure protein bar
s:roasted seaweed
d:egg beaters with a tbs of cheese
my pictures today is an old one from my trip to Canada and one from the other day of the latest thing I created. I need to mess with it a bit more as I'm not 100% happy with it.

Good morning. Going on vacation starting tomorrow, so have been tightening things up and doing well. I'm not gaining my typical 4 to 6 pounds on this vacation. My goal is to be even and I will do it. My food bag is packed and full of good to great choices.
Celebration morning is my photo - I hit 200 Peloton rides this morning. I did a live ride and got a shout out from the instructor (who was in the London studio, since I was taking an early morning class). I bought the bike at the very end of November and with vacations, 2 injuries and 4 weeks off due to the skin surgery - I'm amazed I hit 200 cycle rides (majority 45 min classes) with 2 months to go to 1 year. This is in addition to what I do at the gym 3 to 4 times a week.
PWO - 1/2 protein bar
B - 2 eggs with veg; 1 cup oatmeal and a few blueberries
L - Orange, 2 oz ham, Yogurt with nuts (yes, clearing my fridge from home) and running errands today - leaving work around noon
S - When I get home I have 2/3 cup of chili left from last night's dinner
D - Probably order a salad with chicken gyro meat from the corner greek place - No food left in the house
S - last of the yogurts and some mango

Pictures of DH using the squeezo to remove seeds and stems from tomatoes to make the sauce and a pot of low sugar home made sauce from my garden tomatoes. A little trick I learned while making sauce if your sauce tends to burn on the bottom put your pot in a cast iron skillet on your stove top and it will prevent it from burning.

When I was married my husband was a gardener and I remember this scene vividly. Ha. I told him if he did the cranking I would cook and can the sauce. Quite a production.

Notice the drill in his hand we rigged it up so he uses his drill instead of cranking. He is a mechanic and is innovative like this. It made his job easier them mine. I was cleaning and paring the tomatoes.
