For how long do you keep your L&F yogurt in the freezer? I never again want to have genuine (or ersatz, like Halo Top**** cream, as it is the true food of the devil with a long slide straight to hell for me! But a little frozen Greek yogurt I could manage - I eat it unfrozen from time to time anyway. I don't like any frozen food that's full of ice crystals though, preferring a creamer texture if possible.
Happy Fri-yay, everybody!
It feels like its been a really long week. We have a four day weekend, since we are leaving for Florida on Sunday morning for a little trip for our 29th anniversary. Tomorrow is Marilyn's birthday. I may go to the Blackhawks game tomorrow night. It's only pre-season, but I have the tickets, so why not. It's Blackhawks vs. Bruins.
Next Saturday we have a black tie event for our office (after the Brat Run). I kind of dread going, but I skipped last year because of surgery and the event is honoring our retiring office managing partner, so I committed to go. To make things worse, Marilyn will be in Colorado with my son, so I have to go alone. I will arrive at the salad and leave the second the formal part of the program is over
My tuxedo doesn't fit any more, so I rented one. But now the thought of wearing that rental shirt is making my skin crawl. 90% of the guys that have worn that shirt have worn it to weddings and sweated buckets into it. So I may have to go out on Saturday and buy a tuxedo shirt
Other than that, I think that Saturday will be gym, clean and organize my room and pack.
Pictures are from the concert that we went to two weeks ago.

We had a great time, Gina. My two sons (17 and 15) both really like Rock and Roll, so we try to go to a lot of concerts as a family. My younger says Queen is the best band he ever saw. My older surprised me by saying Dead & Company. Scoring points with his Dad on that one. I really want to see Heart, but they are in Peoria and that is a haul from here.
I had wanted to see Cheap Trick since I was in seventh grade. All the cool kids went. My first concert was the Cars. Made great records but only played 50 minute shows.
I think that you are in Houston? Are you staying dry, I hope? I will be there in a couple of weeks for work and to drive up to Baylor to see my daughter.

Now that I am older I don't go to many concert however DH has a local band he loves that we will be seeing this weekend The Clarks. See if you can find them on one of your streaming Apps if you get a chance. We think they are great but a shame they never hit it big.
Since you mentioned your first concert mine was the Beach Boys Peter Frampton and Gary Wright at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh August 4th 1976. (had to look that up on line) I was 12. I have seen the Rolling stone a few times and they were very good but my all time favorite show by far was Tom Petty. He's shows just seemed to be so personal I loved him.

I think that this summer was Peter Frampton's last tour because of health issues, I wasn't able to get to see him.
I think the best live band that I saw was the Allman Brothers in 1993.

I saw him once at Summerfest in Milwaukee maybe 15 or so years ago (??). Only he wasn't on stage - he was standing along a walkway playing - and people were walking by him - en route to the stage shows. I was very startled to see it was him. I guess he's a big has-been now - but wow - years ago people would have paid big bucks to see him!
