What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning (afternoon for east coasters)!
Late to post but I'm here. Busy, crazy with work, stress of DS and life in general. But I'm plugging along. Went to the monthly support meeting and when I explained my ER visit (a couple of weekends ago) 3-4 people had the same exact experience and they said it's gallbladder related. They said it doesn't show on cat scans or ultra sound and I need to make an appt with a GI. Added that to my to do list.
On a positive note I ran 6.25 this morning (I wanted to see how Kelly feels) and I gotta say I did pretty OK. Nike run told me it was my fastest 10K (my speed is barely 10:20)...and I was patting myself on the back when I got back to the car. 2 more miles this afternoon to walk Luna and that's 8 miles today. Thank god for exercise because pre-op I would have eaten myself out of the house with all the recent stress.
QOTD: not coat weather yet, maybe around thanksgiving, but even then the coats are light.
My meals for the day:
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- Egg bites for breakfast (too hungry after I came back from the run)
- Pulled pork
- Something light for dinner - don't know what yet.
- Greek yogurt and/or parm cheese
Happy jr Friday.

Great job Sheila! I set out to run 10K last night but only made it about 4.5 miles, it was so hot and humid in the tennis facility where I was running.

Hi everyone,
Another quick drive by today.
Still feeling like crud. This morning I was feeling a little better bit that quickly ended. Still not much appetite. I had a couple bites of grilled chicken sausage and that was it. I've been keeping hydrated and with water and chicken stock.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll be feeling a little better.
Enjoy the rest of your day everybody!

Hi all, happy Thursday!
I am a moody thing lately, what with another unwelcome move coming right up, but thankfully I am only making myself miserable, rather than sharing the wealth with others. Amazingly we are having another sunny day today, which helps me a bit.
QOTD: I wore a black cashmere shawl with a ruffled edge the other night, thrown over one shoulder. It made me feel beautiful. When I was in my late teens and early 20s in NYC, I knew a terribly glamorous woman, a genuine countess, who strode about the city in a voluminous cashmere wrap, her long hair flowing, her narrow pants tucked into tall, very high-heeled boots. I suppose she was one of my favorite, formative style icons - I have a few capes and wraps and every time I wear one, I think of how fabulously, devastatingly glamorous she looked. It's chilly up here already, so close to the Canadian border, especially during rainy days - though today is not especially cool. The leaves are definitely starting to turn though! This is my very favorite time of year.
First: coffee - multiple mugs
B: a little TJ's turkey meatloaf, a little nonfat plain Greek yogurt with blueberries & Jordan's Peach SF syrup
L: chicken. Swiss cheese.
D: chicken, veggies, yogurt
Sending all of you love
