What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
G'morning and happy hump day!
Busy day so it's a post and run.
QOTD: italian, olive skin, tans easily. But on one of our first trips to Hawaii I was laying down on the sand enjoying the sun all day, my fair skin husband under the umbrella, but somehow his toes were in the sun. By the end of the day I was brown and his toes totally burned. I laughed so hard and long, I had never met anybody who had burnt just his toes.
Accountability: 4 hi-chew candies. I love those candies!
My meals for the day:
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- Cauliflower fried rice + eggs
- Chicken skewers
- Greek yogurt and/or parm cheese
Have a great day, everyone.

I have had my share of bad burns, but normally I just tan nicely. But oh man, Hawaii! Maryann and I went last Feb and I was legit burning. It was so strange.

My day started out not so great. About 2AM my cat started loudly meowing, he's old and pretty much deaf so he has no idea how loud he is. I kicked him out because 2 nights without sleep turn me into a total grump. So I did get back to sleep and managed to oversleep by about 20 minutes, so running late I apparently didn't notice the lid to my coffee cup wasn't tight so when I was unloading my lunch bag the coffee dumped down the front of my shirt. No lasting burns but my bright turquoise shirt was now splotched with a coconut milk mocha and it hurt. The worst part landed right on my boob, no lasting damage but hot coffee isn't good for any body part. So I dropped my things at work and turned around to go home and change shirts. I didn't notice it was also on my jeans so now I smell mocha...
Still not sure why my cat does the meowing in the middle of the night, some nights he sleeps right through but others it's usually a 3AM wake up call. My roommate tells me not to let him sleep with me, but I can't do that I enjoy having him with me-at least most of the time. He's getting to be an old guy, so you never know how long I'll have him.
Accountability- I was having popcorn withdrawal so I made some and I was in misery for the rest of the night.
QOTD- Too many to recall, I tell people I come from pasty white people. English, Irish, Scottish and German, with a redheaded grandmother but I do tan and freckle...
I bought the Regal Unlimited pass, so I've been seeing way too many movies lately-hence the popcorn issues. I am so looking forward to seeing Downton Abbey and Ad Astra. I think it was JB who was telling about the costumes from Downton Abbey, I'm so jealous I would love to see them. Does anyone know if the real Downton Abbey is open to the public? If I ever make it to the UK that is one of the places I would love to see.
Have a great day everyone!
