What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

I honestly don't think I can even watch that. I'm sure it's very good, but I am equally sure I would just end up terribly upset, and to me there is no point to that. I was so disturbed by the Kavanaugh hearings, I was in a horribly depressed mood. Once someone has been harmed, there is little true hope for real justice. It can occur but statistically I doubt many victims feel much true relief after bringing their cases forward even today, in these supposedly enlightened times.
Trying to get justice is still important. Speaking of whi*****ase anyone here might benefit, this August, New York state opened a special 12-month-only legal window which allows victims of sexual abuse to bring a potentially actionable suit against their abuser, no matter how long ago the crime took place. So if you were raped or otherwise molested in NY, for the next 11 months or so, the statute of limitations does not apply.

Definitely give it a pass, You don't need anything you can control negatively affecting your mood heading into a PNW fall!

Also, good for Grim for supporting family and the democratic process!! Diid you see the UK Prime Minister's brother quit because he couldn't chooose between family and country? Christmas dinner at that family should be nice and relaxed.

Mornin' All!
well I did go to water aerobics yesterday - first time in six months - it was great, although I sat in the whirlpool for about 10 minutes afterward and they had so much chlorine in it that it zapped the color out of my brand new swimsuit that I HAD NEVER WORN BEFORE. I was not happy about it, and I sent an email to the management last night. I'm sure the suit itself is fine, but now instead of royal blue it has splotches of royal blue and splotches of purple. Just....awful. It's fine for exercising and I'll continue to wear it, but I really liked that suit!
I also did a ton of packing last night for my trip (things I won't be needing between now and when I leave) to see how we're doing space-wise. I just want to take one checked bag and one carry on. I think I'll be OK - but I might want to pick up one of those collapsible duffel bags that fold up to nothing and fit in your suitcase JUST IN CASE I buy too much stuff there to fit into my other luggage. Then I can check my carry on and take the duffel bag with me on the plane. Might work...
lunch with a friend today - and I may do some more trip prep as I've got a busy few days between now and when I leave (Oct 5). Otherwise...???
Accountability - continued to be good yesterday. On a roll!! I'll have to be careful today with that lunch out..
QOTD: we got burnt to a crisp pretty much every summer when I was a kid, since no one knew how bad it was. I also got really burned - to the point of being covered with blisters - when I went to a conference in Miami when I was in my 20s. So maybe that - although I remember bad sunburns from when I was a kid, too. No wonder so many people my age are getting skin cancer now!!
4 years 3 months out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and homemade fruit compote, coffee with half & half
MS: nothing (later breakfast and early lunch, so...)
L: at a French cafe - maybe a crepe of some kind - like with ham & cheese
AS: light yogurt with raspberries or protein pumpkin pie
D: I have GOT to finally eat that dying Beyond Meat bratwurst today! So that.
ex: probably a yoga class. I'll see what the studio and my gym have on the agenda for today
have a great day, everyone!

I do two weeks with a carryon but always going the packable duffle - get one sturdy enough to check, put your dirty clothes in it and then take your souvenirs in the plane with you.
