G'morning JB & menuers,
Great weekend. Fun meet up with 3 other OHers. Isn't it funny that you finally meet them and you think to yourself that's exactly how I thought they would talk, or that's how I imagined their voice. The meet up location was beautiful and the view absolutely gorgeous. We will share pics on Fri.
QOTD: I used to listen to news but not anymore, it makes me too upset. So I listen to audio books. I don't even mind being stuck in traffic because that means one more chapter.
Accountability: Sun wasn't pretty. Let's leave it at that.
My meals for the day (went to Costco yesterday):
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- Egg bites
- Chicken skewers & asparagus
- Greek yogurt or parm cheese
Happy Monday, everybody.

Good morning y'all! Happy Monday and all that jazz!
Not sure why, I slept over 8 hours but I am dragging butt today!
QOTD - I listen mostly to NPR/TPR while driving, but more and more I've been listening to positive frequencies to get the good vibes going. Spotify and Youtube both have wonderful mixes, with the positive frequencies in the background of the music playing. I find that helps me get going in the morning more than even the normal music mix I would listen to.
B - Slice of sourdough, cream cheese, tomato slices, bagel seasoning.
Coffee, lots of it!
S - Blendables green smoothie with water, something to add those micronutrients.
L - Frozen dinner, vegetables in gravy with cauliflower mash. Super happy to find more and more meatless options in the frozen section
S - Atkins shake (30g protein)
D - Open, but I'm thinking cheese pizza slice with a small salad. It's gotta be something easy!
I hope you all have a wonderful day! Do something that makes YOU happy today.
Christina
Let it begin with me.

Morning! Are the chaffles filling? I just wonder if I'd eat a ton of cheese (and only cheese) by making them. Ugh, I hit some terrible construction traffic on my way in this morning and it took me about 30 minutes to go the last 1.5 miles into work.
QOTD: I listen to music on Pandora of Spotify until I drop my kid off and then I switch to my audio book.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x2
- English Muffin, Egg, Cheese, and Bacon Sandwich
- Baked Chicken Thigh & Pasta Salad
- TBD, I forgot to take meat out. Maybe some salmon and veggies?
- Snacks: Cucumber, Edamame, Quest Cookie, Avocado

Good morning JB and Menuers,
Glad to see most had a great weekend. So sorry you missed out on the sweater Sheila what a bummer.
All this chaffle talk I may need to take the plunge .
QOTD: I listen to Mikey and Bob in the Morning local morning talk show with two guys that are not qualified to be on the radio and come up with some pretty bizarre crap they do a naked story and Florida story every morning and Primarily listen to top 40 on the way home.
So I had a fun weekend with a Renaissance festival and I had people over to watch the 1:00 game yesterday (Steelers Loose again) I made Shrimp and cheesy grits. and I had green beans and Mississippi Pot roast and A strawberry cheese cake but i could not resist the grits and more than a few licks of the cheesecake knife.
Accountability: It went right out the window the Fat girl in me came alive for the first time since surgery. The Scotch Egg at the festival looks so innocent with it's protein forward HB egg and sausage but roll it in bread crumbs and throw it in the fryer. And it all went to hell in a hand basket for the rest of the weekend.
I will be reigning it back in starting today with smart food choices and Gym. Hopefully back to low weight by the weekend.

Morning all! I've been dealing a lot with head hunger and it's been a real struggle. Like an hour after I eat I'll think I'm hungry again, but I know that's just nuts! So I'll try to distract myself with something or drink some more coffee or crystal light or water or whatever I'm drinking. Sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. How do you guys deal with this dreaded head hunger? Yesterday I went to my favorite grocery store like I do every Sunday to get my groceries for the week and to get my fresh salmon which I also do every week. I swear I'm addicted to it and could literally eat it everyday! Well I wanted to cry right there in the store when I was told they were all out of the salmon. How could that be????? That's never happened!!! So I drove an extra 30 minutes away to another grocery store that did have it. Thank goodness!!! Crises diverted!
QOTD: I used to listen to music in the car, but my commute to work isn't as long anymore and the radio just gets boring to me. So I just drive in silence and think. I have loads of good music on my phone, but my car is an older car and doesn't have Bluetooth capability which stinks because I'd totally be listening to something from my phone. I am definitely looking forward to my next car, but it will have to wait as right now I cannot afford a new car. I have cd's, but they have gotten old to me.
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda and sugar free creamer
L: either turkey and cheese roll up or L&F yogurt with granola and banana
D: leftover zoodle spaghetti with meatballs
S: fruit or L&F yogurt
Oh and I got me a waffle iron yesterday so I'll be making chaffles this weekend instead of with the mini donut maker! Can't wait!

One of the ways I deal with head hunger by making sure that I have a lot of tiny meals. I stay under 1000 calories but eat 5-6 times a day.
