That feels like a super relatable headline to me, how about you? Haha. Happy Monday!
I feel rested and ready to get back at it today. I have a ton of school visits over the next 48 hours and I am determined to do them all via public transportation, which took a lot of planning and coordination... This morning my plan is already foiled because it is raining! I will probably have to Uber between two instead of take a nice 30 minute walk. Bummer!
Accountability: Better than Saturday!
QOTD: What do you listen to in the car? I almost never listen to music or the radio anymore. I spent years commuting to NPR but now I am either listening to podcasts or audiobooks. Sometimes I listen to music when I take the train, though, so that I can drown out the background noise while I work.
**Edit, I had extra time this morning, so I made more Chaffles for breakfast! Yummers. It added 60 calories to breakfast, but worth every one. Those are freaking delicious!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
It was jammed packed weekend and I am tired but ready to get the week started. The weather was gorgeous on Saturday for the Jersey Shore and the crowds were light in the morning at the Hershey RV show.
Accountability: awful
QOTD: To and from work I listen to nothing. I like the sweet sound of silence :)
I will take Max for a walk after work and we have some yard work to do. Have a great day!
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Good morning, everybody!
The Target trip was a success. Saturday night, DD texted me a picture of the Green Lily Pulitzer Romper and words of encouragement. Marilyn let me know that she didn't have tennis until 9:30, so she could accompany me. We got to the store about fifteen minutes before it opened. They had security and an associate came out into the parking lot to explain where the sale items were, limits, and that there were no additional items in back. One old guy was just there to buy Pringles and was a little shocked by the commotion.
It was pretty easy though, only about twenty people. We made our way straight to the sale and got the Green Romper. There was a bit of confusion when Marilyn decided that all of the dresses were in children's sizes but I did some further looking and disproved that. All in all, we went in, got the Romper and three dresses in about fifteen minutes and got out. Plus, Marilyn picked a Romper for our trip to West Palm Beach and I got a Henley. I even saw Sheila's Missoni Cardigan. I thought for a second of picking one up for her, but given the small crowds, I figured the online option would work fine.
There was a tiny little girl in the store with her mother, she was maybe 18 months old. She had a new backpack on and her Mom was handing her a purse. Her Mom was explaining that if the little girl wanted the purse, that she could only get one thing, so would have to put back the backpack. The little girl said "OK". Mom handed her the purse and then went to grab the backpack. At this point, the little girl said "Noooo" and commenced running. Starting young.
I'm officially on the Chaffle hype train. I made them last night and ate them with butter and a sugar free syrup that we got at Whole Foods. Delicious and one filled me up. My son liked them also.
Continuing to slog along on the 50 mile challenge. Hopefully,I will get 12 miles or so of running in this week so that I can be at 40 going into the last week. This would be so much faster if I could rip off 7 mile plus runs like my foxy friend from Fresno, but, alas, I am a plodder.
QOTD: Sirius XM Grateful Dead channel when I am driving, nothing if I am taking the train.
Breakfast: Breakfast Brat
Snack: Protein Bar
Lunch: Chicken
Snack: Light and Fit
Dinner: Steak (supposed to be yesterday but had Chaffles)
Have a great Day, all!

Noooooooo, was it the long cardigan or the short one? Because on Sat I got up at 4:00 am to check the online sale and the long cardigan was marked sold out. I ended up getting only the dress. I was so bummed.
My husband was so bewildered when I told him the story about how I found out about this sale. He kept asking "so, a guy you met on your online forum told you about a target sale? How did HE know?" It is so outside his realm of interest that he can't fathom another man can know about a store's sale. I think I've said this before he is a typical CA surfer/engineer. His clothes for work are jeans and T-shirt and weekends are shorts and T-shirt.
