Hi all and happy Thursday! I've got a bunch of meetings today, including one with a particularly demanding client that's been giving some SERIOUS scope creep. Not super looking forward to it, but at least I can relax tonight once that's all done.
Accountability: Not too bad. We ended up having chicken alfredo last night, I ate the chicken and had a couple of noodles. Shouldn't have done that, next time I just won't have husband put any in my dish at all.
QOTD: I'd say I'm probably Doc. I tend to wrangle people (I'm a manager at work and have some leadership in roller derby) and be pretty positive about it.
Chow 5 weeks out
B: Fairlife
L: Salami and cheese stick
D: not sure, maybe IP crack chicken?
S: maybe yogurt?
E: I'd love to take my bike out on my lunch break, but it's going to be hotter than yesterday and the temperature yesterday almost killed me, so I only did 5.5mi. I'm thinking I'll see if Nolan is up to playing in the childcare area at the gym and attend aqua aerobics tonight.

Thanks! It ended up going really well, they only need minor additions to the stuff I'm working on and the conversation was really positive :)

Hi JB and Menuers,
I finally got my blood draw. I am a very hard stick and I fasted 2 days last week only to leave without them getting a single drop. I think it was because I was so cold. I know I am a hard stick so I hydrate a lot when I know I have blood work. They got me on the 3 stick today. I wore a winter coat and it's 78° so it must have helped.
Yesterday I had a bad afternoon. I ate some of that Stilton Blueberry cheese and the blueberry skin got stuck. I had the foamies and took about an hour and a half to dislodge it. I felt better as soon as I got it up. However I was very sluggish and drained so I did not make it to they gym.
QOTD: I am a Doc I am the one who holds the fort down when it comes to the home front and in the big scheme of family I am always consulted on planing. If I am in an exercise class I am front and center (even before surgery) I am very vocal I love to be heard and now after surgery I like to be seen as well.
Accountability: I had a Fit Crunch Cinnamon Twist Protein bar before bed that I did not eat at lunch . I did wake up a little lighter today I was 140.2 this morning.

Oh man I feel your pain with the blood draw. I am much better now, post-op, but pre-op I had some nightmare tries to draw blood. Once at an ER visit, they got desperate after a million tries, and took it from behind my knee!
Sorry you got stuck. Not sure if there is a worse feeling in the world (except unsuccessful blood draws, lol). Hope today is a better day!

I came down with pneumonia after my WLS and they had to use a Doppler to get a vein. I always thought I was a hard draw do to the fat but they say I just have tricky veins. Even Central Blood Bank ask me not to give blood.

Good morning~ Good luck with your commute today! I complain about my commute sometimes, but seriously it's nothing compared and I'm rarely delayed more than 10 minutes. I'm out of the office all next week so I need get to work and prepare.
QOTD - I'm all of them at any given time. Work mode - I'm always Doc. Otherwise it's a crap shoot!
Accountability - I enjoyed a few treats yesterday- no regrets!
