mornin' all!

Wow - WAY too much sodium yesterday - I'm up two pounds since yesterday and feeling every ounce of it - can you say waterlogged?? I went out to dinner last night and had two of those little authentic tacos - and 10 tortilla chips - and then late last night I started getting dizzy (low blood sugar, I'm guessing), so I had some sugar free protein pudding - all of which are high in sodium (I can taste the salt in SF pudding, believe it or not). Ugh. So lots of water today. Unfortunately, I'm meeting a friend for lunch at a Japanese place - it'll be hard to find anything there that's not packed with sodium, so I'll do what I can and really watch my intake the rest of the day.

other than the lunch today, I have a meeting tonight of the people going to India. And I need to get some exercise. And finish up the handful of things I'm forever trying to finish up...

accountability was OK yesterday except for the SF pudding I had late last night - I was already borderline before I had the SF pudding, but I felt I had to eat SOMETHING to deal with the presumed blood sugar issue. The plan is to undereat my range today to make up for it.

QOTD: I always have to have a cover, even in the summer. I feel weird sleeping without some kind of cover.

4 years 3 months out:

B: protein pancakes with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt and 1/2 mango (diced), coffee with half & half

MS: nothing

L: probably grilled fish and vegetables (at the Japanese place)

MS: nothing

D: I may have one of those Beyond Meat brats again - although I think that has a ton of sodium as well, but everything else I have does, too (sushi, deli turkey, turkey meatballs). Maybe it'd be better to just have homemade cottage cheese (I didn't add any salt to it)!!!

have a great day, everyone!!

I'm really glad you're making a conscious choice to avoid salt. It seems to be something you complain about a LOT!

There is a lot of hidden sodium in foods. Most pork and poultry products are sodium 'enhanced', supposedly to help flavor and tenderness because they are being raised and trimmed to be extra lean. My ex is a meat cutter.

Afternoon all! Hope everyone is having a fabulous Wednesday.

QOTD: yes, I have to at least have a top sheet. I normally sleep with a top sheet and a comforter. That's just the way I was raised and I just find it so odd that there are actually people out there who don't sleep with one. But they probably find me odd too. Lol

B: premier shake

B2: coffee w/Splenda

L: roast beef deli meat and cheese roll up

D: leftover baked salmon and Brussels

S: L&F yogurt

Nah--it's definitely the non-sheet people who are weird ;)

QOTD- I'm probably weird but I must have top & bottom sheet, electric blanket, wool blanket and down comforter with duvet cover. I'm pretty much always cold, in the summer I may ditch one of the blankets usually the wool one as I will still use the electric blanket.

My roommate is in the hospital, the pancreatitis is worse. The pain was just too much for him, and he says it hurts just to drink water. I'm not sure how long he'll be there, but needs to be better for the WLS on the 26th.

I was in misery last night and figured out the symptoms were from my lactose intolerance and as a result of the milk in the Reese's pumpkins I've been consuming, so a good reason the quit eating them. Or to take the pills to prevent it, truthfully I need to just kick them to the curb. I really don't need the calories.

I was at .4lbs above my lowest this morning, so that made me happy. The rain has stopped for now, so after I go by the hospital I will get a walk in.

Have a great day everyone!

That many blankets are my dream and Grim's worst nightmare. We are perfectly matched in every way, except for body temperature...
