What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
The new place looks great. We miss you, but know what you are doing is so important. You should feel proud of yourself for being a good caretaker.
Now, if I knew you were going to post today, I would have taken a picture of the bruise on my foot from dropping a 45 pound dumbbell. Fortunately, I only got it on the bounce, but its a lovely shade of green.

Mornin' All!
I have a few things I need to do today before I head out of town again tomorrow. I'm meeting up with my cousin in Davenport, IA (she lives in Des Moines. We were originally going to meet in Iowa City, which is kind of a fun little town because it's the home of the Univ of Iowa, but there's evidently a football game there tomorrow, and my cousin is afraid that, given the small size of the town, parking and driving are going to be nuts. So - she suggested Davenport instead. I don't think there's much in Davenport, but we'll see. Although the idea is really to spend time with my cousin, so it may be fine). Today's agenda includes coffee with a friend later this morning and running some errands. And doing some more prep work for my trip to India since it will be coming up quickly!
QOTD: I'd ask my pets if they're happy here and if not, what we can do to help with that. We have to timeshare our house with two of our cats because they HATE each other, so we swap them in and out of a spare bedroom. It's not ideal, but I don't know what other options we have. I love them both and don't want to re-home either one. My MIL said she might be interested in taking on one of them for a few days as an experiment - so I may take her up on that. I'd be OK if one of them went with her - she really wants a cat and is GREAT with them. At any rate, I'd be up for trying it for two or three days to see how it goes. I'm sure they'd be happier if they had the run of the house - or A house - all the time. But then, who knows. At least one of them seems pretty content perched up on the top of the cat tree in that bedroom, so...
accountability was OK yesterday given I was out of town. I went over my calorie range, but only by 100 kcal, so not bad. I did a lot of walking, too.
4 years 3 months out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt, diced 1/2 mango, and SF syrup, coffee with half & half
MS: more coffee with half & half
L: salad with diced turkey breast and light dressing
AS: light yogurt with raspberries
D: probably 1/2 a Beyond Burger with a "diet" bun and an ear of corn
ex: something. Feeling blobbish this morning
here's a picture of me from yesterday. I LOVED this hat, but I didn't buy it since I can't imagine where I would wear the thing. Still, it was cute....

Very cute hat!
Seems like you are traveling more than home lately! How fun!
