What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
It cracks me up how teenagers feel about money. Em has no problem getting a frappe when I am buying but when she has to buy her own-it somehow isn't "needed". We have had the talk about if she wants an allowance for doing her basic stuff then I am not buying her the splurge stuff she "needs", her allowance needs to be used. It's a battle.
You will for sure be ready for some girl time next weekend!

Yes it's me again. I missed a couple days just being busy but things are going well. Miss Lily and I have been walking our legs off at this beautiful camp! Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 121.6 today. Here's the food plan for the day B1 scrambled eggs and sm aserving biscuit and gravy at local diner L 4 oz deli chicken and cheese D 4 oz burger with cheese no bun and S if needed sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. On our first walk and will do more later. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone! Pics of walk scenery and the ever smiling Miss Lily. Even threw in one of me dragging brush off the trail. Definitely not possible without my RNY!
Hi Karen,
I read this thread daily, but very rarely post...so I hope this doesn't seem creepy...but last week our pastor talked about patient perseverance and I immediately thought of you and wondered if this would be the week that we saw 121. in your post! Thanks for being such a great role model to all of us here, even the ones you don't "know"

Just a very quick drive by. Life here is still pretty much a disaster area. DW is not doing well, I am just trying to keep my head above water and we are trying to transition to make life a little easier.
In good news, DW finished up her neuro-psych testing and it clearly shows that she has dementia and is unable to work. We are fighting the termination of her disability and hopeful that at some time in the future she will be covered again. We have been in the market for a condo so I don't have as much to care for and finally yesterday afternoon we have a contract!! Home to move in about a month. Then to fix up our house and get it on the market before things shut down for the winter! Trying to be hopeful that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't ANOTHER train!!
Having migraines, nausea, etc from the stress but trying to eat as well as possible and exercise. Weight is up and down depending on whether I can eat or not. Living on lots of CarbMaster yogurt and Lactaid cottage cheese which settles most of the time.
Also planning to be at OH in Anaheim October 3-6 if anyone else will be there.
HUGS everyone!
