Happy Friday JB and Menuers!
JB love the pictures of the pups and of you and Grim. You are so tiny!
This weekend looks to be a quiet one. We have to close the pool and get a little bit of yard work done. We will also go to the market and I will meal prep on Sunday. I feel the need to go shoe shopping and hope to squeeze that in.
Accountability: We did take a walk when I got home but I didn't get 100 ounces of water in. Small steps = progress in the right direction.
QOTD: I would ask Max if he was happy in his new home and about his previous owner. He is such a good rescue baby and we are both so in love with him.
B: HB egg and parmesan/asiago cheese
L: last of the brisket with a salad and blue cheese
D: going out so I am not sure
I am going for 80 ounces of water today.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Edit to add a picture. DH and I in the mountain of Tennesse this summer.

Happy Fri-yay, Everyone!
We have a pretty full weekend planned. Tonight I am going to watch a co-workers's son play football. I have wanted to see him play, but they live in the boondocks and tonight he happens to be playing in the town next to us, so I jumped at the chance. Saturday morning, we are doing this workout that involves two 5-K's so I should get some mileage in towards the 50 mile challenge. Tomorrow, we are going to see ZZ Top and Cheap Trick play. I have seen ZZ Top play before but Cheap Trick has been on my want to see list since 1979.
JB, I think you are a little younger than me, but I bet Grim remembers when every cool kid in Massachusetts had a Cheap Trick Live at Buhdakkan Concert T-shirt (7-th grade for me). Alas, I was not one of those cool kids.
Sunday, I will be doing more scraping and sanding. The good news is that the doors that we brought down to bare wood and then re-painted came out nice. The bad news is that has caused Marilyn to add a bunch of new trim to the list of things that need to be scraped. Hopefully the boys can help make short work of it.
QOTD: I must confess that I have no pets. While I do have some queries for the various rodents that inhabit our yard, I am not sure that I would waste my question on a squirrel. I think that I would find a surrogate cat to chat with. I feel like I understand dogs fairly well, but I have never been clear whether cats consider themselves to be pets or not. Do they actually enjoy living with people? or is it just something that they put up with for free Meow Mix?
Photo is the newly re-finished screen porch doors.

Jim, you might not know this but you do have cats at home. I came across this quote recently : Children are like dogs, teenagers are cats. Nuff said!

That is so true! Now that my daughter is in her 20's she is reverting to a puppy. But a very expensive thoroughbred one.
