QOTD: What a great question! I would ask Trysten what I could do to make him feel safe around other dogs. He's a little bit fearful but still does well at agility shows, I just would like to help him feel safe and comfortable going to new places. I have other questions for each of my pets but if I only had one, that would be it! I'll post a picture of him later.

Hi menu pals! Happy Friday!
I pulled back my calories yesterday and this morning my weight was back down from 127.8 to 125.4 - thank God! I had over 100 grams of protein but still overdid my carbs (yet again, I had too many SF popsicles). I was so grateful to see that drop! At 5'8" and a bit, I am fine at 125 and size 0/2, and do not feel the need to become thinner; in fact my surgeon suggested I could gain 5 to 10 pounds. but I don't want to gain, just to hold steady, neither going up nor down. That's my goal. Just so glad the scale responded quickly. I will finish this box of popsicles but won't buy more for a good long while.
QOTD: I am actually pondering if my darling Mia is near the end. She and her sister Kai were born on Oct. 1, 2001, and are senior citizens at his point. Mia is almost deaf and entirely blind, but she still eats with gusto and enjoyment, uses the litter box with almost no misses, and loves cuddling and being petted, so I feel she is still ok most of the time. But her quality of life is, or course, not what it used to be before she went blind. I know she isn't in any pain, but still I am struggling with this. And her beautiful sister Kai is also losing her hearing - I just noticed that this week. She still hears loud sounds, but doesn't respond to softer tones. It is very sad to me, but at least she still has her sight, and overall is in better shape than her sister. So I guess I would ask each of them how they are doing, and if they are happy. I think Kai is, but Mia has more challenges. She has PRA, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, an incurable genetic disorder which strikes certain breeds, including Siamese.
First: several mugs of yummy tea this morning - my stomach hurt after the last cup of coffee last night, so I decided to have tea instead for a while.
B: maple ham, espresso cheese
L: tuna, a bit of skinny girl ranch dressing, a hardboiled egg
D: Everroast chicken, a little cheese
S: a hardboiled egg.
S2: not more than 2 SF popsicles
Have a beauty of a Friday, my friends!
Hi everyone, I just got done with a 13 hr work day and now I'm going to help a friend move a couch. Not the lifting part cause of my knees but providing the transportation with my truck.
Haven't had much to eat today. Just 2 turkey sausage patties. Yes, I'm hungry! LOL!
I'll try to catch up on reading later on tonight.
Enjoy the rest of evening everybody.
