What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers??

It's the start of a 3 day weekend! Yessss! And I am happy to say that I really don't have much planned. I am hoping we get to strike that perfect balance between fun & adventure, relaxing, and productivity ;)
Did anyone else have a problem with OH notifications yesterday? It was funny--I posted early like always, then didn't have a chance to look again until after noon, and for a second I thought no one had responded!
Accountability: Good all day, but came home and just had wine and cheese for dinner...
QOTD: Has anyone tried a grocery pick up or delivery service? John's daughter uses a pick up and swears by it! She loves the savings, convenient and quality. Back about years ago when I was: a.) fat, b.) lived in a 3 story walk up, c.) had a roommate with hoarding tendencies... we tried a delivery service. We only got things like cat litter, bottles of soda, bulk toilet paper, and other heavy item--rarley did we ever get fresh produce or anything... It was fine, but expensive and annoying to have to wait home in 4 hour windows. I think I might prefer the pick-up, but I haven't tried yet.
Exercise: Gym day! Plan to run 5K and probably do the weight machine circuit.

Good morning!! I ended the week with a stress headache and utter exhaustion (some work sruff) and woke up at 450 by a group text from my boss. Headaches back, lol. It should get better from here! I'm going to get out of bed after this moose and make a pot of coffee.
i have a pretty chill day planned, some errands, Cur some laundry, mostly relaxing type stuff!
B - cottage cheese (my couple of experiments have determined that I am full longest with the "good culture" brand. It's a very dry cottage cheese so it's not gloopy).
l - tbd
d - Crockpot chicken green Chile
s - L&F greek, built bar
have a great Saturday!

Mornin' Weekenders!
I'm meeting up with a couple of old friends today. The first one for coffee in a couple of hours. He was a student at a college I worked at 35 years ago, and we became friendly. A couple of years later, I moved to Wisconsin, and a few years after that, he started graduate school in the Chicago area, so we got together once in awhile during the time he was there. I'm pretty sure it's been at least 25 years since I've seen him, though (other than on Facebook!). Then I'm having lunch with my best friend from my first master's program (early 80s). I'm sure it's been around 25 years since I've seen her, too, but I'll ask her today - maybe we can figure it out. She was a professor in Vermont for a long time and then moved to Oregon after she retired, but now she's back in NC - in the Asheville area. I just found out she was back here maybe a month ago tops - so we're getting together. I'll finally get to meet her husband, too! So this will be a fun day (and hopefully not a heavy eating day - I want to at least eat dinner at "home" (my brother's house) since this restaurant eating is killing me!!
QOTD: nope - haven't tried it. I actually kind of like going to the grocery store, so not sure I'd ever do this (unless I started having health problems or something)
4 years 2 months out:
B: Greek yogurt with blueberries
MS: protein shake, coffee with half & half
L: we're meeting at a Mexican place. I was planning on tacos (they have those little authentic ones with just meat, cilantro, and onions), but the menu says the taco options come with four tacos. Crap. The most I eat is two. Hopefully someone will share a plate with me (I'm not planning to come home right away after eating, so I don't want leftover tacos sitting in a hot car). They don't have many a la carte options, either. I'll have to figure something out...
D: leftovers, I hope. I have pulled pork in the fridge from Thurs night, as well as half of a Beyond Burger from last night
ex: hopefully a lot of walking
have a great Saturday, everyone!

Oh, forgot QOTD - I used instantcart a few times when I had a craving for Oreos but was lazy (this was preWLS). If I remember correctly they had a dollar threshold so I added more chocolate things to it.
i did try amazon now recently (pre blizzard) but they didn't deliver so ended up cancelling it.
i do order non-perishables to be delivered to my mom every few months, makes it easier for her.

Good morning, everybody!
Started my long weekend by waking up at 5:00, of course. The first time that I woke up, it was 12:30. I knew it was early, but before I looked at the clock, I thought "please be at least 3:00." Not so much.
Today I need to get a new phone. I will re-read Jen's advice before heading out to Target. Julia S. way overestimated my adaptability when she suggested Samsung, LOL. I still need my oldest son to put movies in the Blue Ray for me. Her Ducks open their season today - I hope she enjoys that game. Also, I am going to Orvis to get Waders and Boots.
I love going to Orvis. That may have been my second choice for the shopping spree question the other day.
I was happy to get a like from Janet the other day. I miss people when they don't post. What she is doing is important though, I get that.
QOTD: Only the milkman who brings the kid's milk.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack:Protein Bar
Lunch: Bratwurst
Snack: sausage and cheese
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

I have used Walmart. You order all your groceries online, and they give you a pickup time. You park in the designated area and send them a text that you have arrived.
They bring out everything and put it in the trunk for you. It is a real time and energy saver and they pick the nicest produce and best cuts of meats for their pick up customers.
It is especially nice for holiday shopping when the stores are crowded and the checkouts lines seem endless.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Good morning menu friends! Lily and I have already had a nice long walk in the woods today and will do another later. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 121.8 today. Here's the food plan for the day B 2 eggs scrambled and cheese and salsa L out but protein forward D 4 oz grilled lamb chops a if needed sm apple with peanut butter. Have a great day full of healthy choices! Pics from the woods here at Pine Creek camp.

Good morning (at least on the west coast anyway!) Got up at the crack of dawn to take the dogs to the park with Rob. Picked up Starbuck on the way and impulsively got a PSL - so stupid. Then we we went to Home Depot for pavers and a million bags of pea pebbles. Got back to the house and started laying the stones and spreading the pebbles and I got hit with a migraine - surely from the PSL and then RH. I was seeing spots, got the spins and sweats. It wiped me out. Layed down for a while, then took a shower and now I am on the couch. If I'm up to it later I may go get a pedi and cruise Target but that's all I have in me.
QOTD - I love grocery shopping, so other than being in a time crunch, I don't know if I would. I am so picky and would prefer to pick out my own meat and produce anyway. Plus I shop at at least 3 different stores a week for everything I want/need. Although I like the idea of avoiding impulse shopping.
Accountability - added pork rinds and protein cookie and both were gross.

Holy crap--the PSL has 51 carbs?! Damn. I haven't had a "real" one post-op and now I guess I never will.
