What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
No my family is from Pietranico is a village and comune of the province of Pescara in the Abruzzo region of central Italy. So it doesn't make sense it is a name of a town does it? I always like learning about my family history and I really appreciate your input anytime someone teaches me something new I greatly appreciate it.

happy FRIDAY!
I already made a mistake this morning and decided to indulge in the free bagels someone brought in for our boss's birthday. UGH> whyyyyy bagelsssss whyyyyy?!
At least I only grabbed half of one this time, but then I also had a handful of the granola sitting there and I am sure it was loaded with sugar because here I am 20 minutes later and regretting all of my decisions. BLECH.
I am going to eat my overnight oats for lunch and be good the rest of the day I swear to myself!
QOTD: we used to always spend labor day weekend at my aunt and uncle's farm in Iowa for years...we stopped going regularly when I was in college but I've been back a handful of times for it since then...they haven't had it since my uncle passed away about 6 years ago, and this will be the last one since my aunt is selling the farm...it's bittersweet.
Morning: coffee w/SF coffeemate
B: half everything bagel w/jalapeno cream cheese, handful of granola
L: 1/2C overnight oats w/vanilla L&F greek, vanilla almond milk and blueberries & cinnamon
D: DH planned on making jalapeno popper stuffed chicken breasts in the smoker today but the chicken was frozen solid this morning...so it depends on if it will thaw enough by noonish. haha...otherwise probably turkey italian sausages w/kale & sweet potatoes
No snacks for me today...I am going to try to get a run in later, but I also need to grocery shop and finish packing for the Iowa trip, so we'll see!
I just got 2 new pairs of glasses. I just love them so much and now that I can get them for super cheap online I can't stop! Yes, I realize I have enough of them but do I really? :P
