morning peeps!
I swear this week is dragging. I'm sure it's because I had a day off in the middle last week and this coming weekend is a long one so today feels like it should be friday already.
I did get a little jog in last night but only about a mile since Story was crabby and didn't want to jog with me, I did a lot of jogging in place while she "rested her legs" lol...she'll be 5 in November and she has unlimited energy until I need her to actually come with me on a jog. I swear I'm not pushing her too hard, I am literally jogging almost as slow as she walks!
Hopefully tomorrow I will get a chance to do another solo run so I can set my own pace again...I have a lot to get done friday though, packing for the Iowa trip since we have to leave at 7am to get to my sister's house by 8 so we can get on the road before the baby needs his nap. I have to grocery shop tomorrow after work at some point too since I won't be home over the weekend to get that done.
I swear I don't know how disorganized people get anything done.
QOTD: I would absolutely be a house cat. no contest.
Morning: coffee w/sf coffeemate
B: my typical overnight oats w/almond milk, vanilla L&F Greek yogurt, cinnamon and blueberries
L: apple sausage bean & kale soup
D: probably an omelette since I don't really want to cook anything with leftovers.
ES: carrots & hummus
happy Friday Eve folks!

Good morning y'all, and Happy Friday Eve!
QOTD - This is an extremely difficult one! I would say dog, but I know where they stick their noses. I am going to have to go with a whooping crane. They fly beautifully and I love the noise they make!
As a side note, I got my labs back yesterday from my doctor and ten years out, I am over the moon with how great they are. I am so very relieved, and absolutely back to compliance. Only VitD was low, and that one I expected. It's being fixed as we speak!
B - Coffee and lots of it
B- Taco (potato and cheese)
S - Atkins shakeL - Vegetarian mediterranean plate (having lunch out today)
D - Probably leftover lunch and perhaps some cheese and a couple of water crackers
S - Atkins shake
Have a wonderful day y'all!

It was over 102 by my thermometer yesterday. We had thunder and lightning early this morning. Sad to say I was awake for it. The move of my roommate was not entirely successful, I can still hear him when he talks playing his game. Oh well I put an air cleaner in my room for the white noise, but it didn't help that much. If I close the door it's a bit better, but my cat hates closed doors.
I got a short walk in at lunch about a mile, and it was hot then. Today is overcast and humid but it isn't supposed to get very warm. Maybe I can fit a walk in this evening.
Accountability was not good, but today is another day.
I dreamed about my Mom last night, she was in the hospital and not doing well. She is 84 and not in the best of health but she's still living alone and wouldn't have it any other way. Why is it the people we love the most can also drive us crazy?
QOTD- it's hard to decide I love humpback whales they are so graceful and move so well in 3 dimensions. I love watching hawks soar and spread my arms and point my fingers and pretend I am with them. Cats know they are the center of the universe and have great lives.
I can almost see Friday from here!
Have a great day everyone!

I second the airplugs, the little foam ones you can hardly feel and they work great (I buy them by the bottle for travel!)
