Today is my last day of work and then I am taking some vacation time (Aug 30 - Sept 6), can't wait. I plan on not having a plan and just doing whatever suits my fancy. Its a solo vacation, hubby can't get time off until October so I might go Cross Border Shopping one day, lots of hikes with the dogs and chilling.

I have never owned a cat and generally cats don't like me - I have only ever owned dogs so I can safely say dogs have an internal food clock as well. My chocolate lab Amy is particularly good at telling time, she knows when its breakfast & dinner and lets us know if we are a minute late. I get home first at 4pm and my hubby gets home at 4:30pm, if he is late by a minute Amy knows and sits at the front door looking out the window waiting for him, smart animals.

As a chronic migraine sufferer I know the pain of headaches, glad you are feeling better today. My Fall allergies have kicked in as well. Also saw a news story today that stated many people are suffering this year more from allergies due to climate change, great just great.

QOTD: Either a crocodile or great white shark, other than humans those two animals have no enemies. They are both fierce, strong, powerful and cunning. I would love to be a T-Rex as well, I would have ruled back in the Dino age, speaking of the Dino age the Jurassic park movies are some of my all time favs!

Accountability: excellent - small pouch days and busy so no off plan eating

TSS: 5 yrs + 9 mos post op RNY

B: the usual - coffee & chai latte made with vanilla PP used as creamer

L: chicken shawrma (take out from work)

S: Balanced break

D: 1 chicken skewer with tzatziki dip

S: Power Crunch bar

Totals: 920 calories, 126 protein, 45 carbs

V: patches are on + oral B12

E: 5km run after work & arm work out at the gym and then take the dogs for 5km walk in the evening

L: as usual 150 oz is my minimum

Have a fantastic Thursday everyone!

Oooh a week of nothing planned sounds INCREDIBLE! I imagine you will head across to Trader Joes? Try to find a grocery store that has Boars Head Ever Roast chicken and make sure they shave it for you!

Your pups are incredibly beautiful, and smart to boot!

Good Morning!

Ended up going out for a Lobster dinner last night. No complaints here. My girlfriend I went with is my neighbor and friend for 30+ years. She had VSG after me and did very well. She was also my dieting buddy for 30 years. Her husband had VSG in May and is one of those cases of rare complications. It has been a nightmare. He just sprung his third leak. They keep telling him he has a rough road ahead but he will get past it.

A little update on the job front- I got asked how far I was willing to travel to be a manager. So at least they are still talking about me.

QOTD: I am going to go with Lion. Blond mane but still a cat species who likes to eat.

  • Oatmeal w/ protein
  • turkey, slice Dave's Killer Bread, veggies
  • Chicken schwarma with Thai Slaw
  • S: yogurt, protein, tbd

Ex: heavy lift day at gym. Barbell back squats and trying to hit 135# Barbell on my hip thrusts/glute bridges.
