What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Morning Everyone! We made it past the hump, and there is a 3 day weekend on the other side! This meme really resonates--we have two spoiled rotten kitties who you can set a clock to for how insistent they are when it is feeding time! When I was newly post op, I used to set an iPhone alarm to remember vitamins, and drinking, but this would have worked just as well!
I am definitely feeling better today. I think the headache was allergies, and a good soaking rain seems to have helped.
Accountability: Great. I walked at lunch and didn't end up going out to dinner, but had steak at home. Ended the day around 900 calories.
QOTD: If you were an animal, what animal would you be and why? I came up with this one because I was watching an old rerun of 30 Rock and the CEO described himself as "an eagle with the head of a bear". Hahaha. I am going to go with a goat for myself--generally wild, but easily domesticated. Inquisitive, lots of energy, and will eat anything ;)
Exercise: Gym after work--2 miles on the treadmill.

Good Morning and Happy Friday-Eve. JB, so glad that you're feeling better. So true about a kitty's internal clock. Twinkie knows when John is supposed to be home for lunch and starts lurking. I think today I'll make some fog jam and crochet and veg a bit.
Accountability: On plan.
QOTD: I'm not sure, maybe something like a dolphin cause they always make me feel peaceful when I see them swimming/jumping.

You beat me to it Jen, I was going to ask what is fog jam? Is that a Cali thing? ha ha ha
Lord almighty, Julia...it's not even 7 am and your perky post is already up and 80 people have viewed it! Who are you crazy morning people?! Although, thanks to stress, I am a morning person today too (not a perky one). I woke up at 4 am and had way too many work things on my mind so I finally got up at 5 and have worked for a solid 2 hours already. I get so much more done when no one is IMing me and I am not on calls all damn day! I needed to get ahead of some stuff especially since I have a customer meeting this morning and then at lunch...HIGHLIGHTS AND ROOT COLOR! Can you tell I am excited? I am long overdue - I have had to resort to two gray-covering box root kits since my last professional color. Since I am going to Vegas in 3 weeks for work and have to present on stage in front of hundreds of people at a conference, I need to feel confident about my hair!
Side note: I can't wait to see my hairdresser. She is a TOTAL Vaguebooker. A typical post from her will say something like "Sometimes you think you can trust the people you love, but keep one eye open!" or "I will turn this MESS into a BLESSing". I mean, it's clearly meant for specific people and situations but I don't get the whole scoop until I am sitting in the chair. And then I get alllll the gossip.
QOTD: Hmm. I think I would be a fat, lazy housecat, much like the love of my life, Chloe (my cat!). And your meme is hilarious since she only moves her ass when I come down in the morning - she races down the stairs and waits by the food bowl LOL.
B: 1 cup cottage cheese with a hard-boiled egg mashed in and Everything But The Bagel spice (liberal use!)
L: Pickings are a bit slim. I may end up with some leftover tuna (mixed with onion and mayo and salt and pepper)
D: I may make Kris take us out to dinner since my hair will look good. So this is TBD.
E: Hell no! My hair will look good! LOL!
Oh you definitely have to take your hair out! Lol. Can not waste that beauty.

I feel that getting my hair done is one of my many small luxuries, nah scratch that, its a must. I don't have a fancy house or car, I don't buy expensive clothes or shoes but dammit I am going full on Diva when it comes to my hair - make me beautiful Anna (that's my hairdresser's name)!
Vegas in three weeks - yahoo, standing on stage in front of hundreds of people - NOPE. I will live vicariously through you and let you tell us about it. As an introvert that is one of my biggest "no way no how will that happen."
Hello tuna for lunch! Love me some tuna. And I have decided to bring it back to my menu a couple of days a week instead of 5 days a week, I can't live with out tuna!
LOL Daisy, I know...being on stage is not for everyone! I am such a ridiculous extrovert that I would like to be on stage with a crowd like the Rolling Stones pull in, it wouldn't bother me a bit!
I love tuna too - this was just plain with mayo and onion, but I do love to make it with black and green olives and feta cheese and crushed red pepper and red onion...
I also shop for clothes at Marshalls and Ross, and I drive a 2008 Jetta - my splurge is my hair color and my cleaning lady!!!
