Quick post for accountability. Lily and I have a short walk done and more to come. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and Lily and I looked like drowned rats when we came back from our walk. Weight is 122 today. Here's the food plan for today B 2/3c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz. chicken with cheese D 4 oz polish sausage S if needed sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Mornin'!

Busy day today (for a retiree) - pedicure at 9:30, lunch (committee) meeting at 11:45, Mah Jongg all afternoon. I have to work some exercise in there somewhere, too. And I have to do some work on my organization's Web site before I leave for North Carolina on Thursday...

accountability was good yesterday. Weight down a bit this morning. YAY!

QOTD: When I was in 9th grade, the plan was to marry Elton John. My best friend was going to marry John Denver. I'm sure I had celebrity crushes before then, but I can't remember any at the moment. Oh - Bobby Sherman at one point...I think I was around 8 or 9 then.

4 years 2 months out:

B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt, diced peach, and SF syrup, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: the lunch place has grilled fish tacos, so probably that

AS: probably nothing

D: salad with diced turkey

well, we didn't have gay people back then, you know! LOL!! Elton John didn't come out until maybe the late 80s, and he was married for awhile, so I don't think many people suspected it during his heyday (early to mid-70s). Back then, I don't think people suspected it unless the person was really flamboyant (not that EJ isn't flamboyant, but in a different sort of way).

I was watching a movie or documentary once that had film clips from the 50s. It might have been that movie on Edward Morrow - I can't remember. Anyway, there was a clip of an interview with Liberace, who even back then people had to know. Had to. But the interviewer asked him why he never married, and he said, "I just haven't met the right girl yet". The movie audience exploded. But I bet people in the 50s would have been totally satisfied with that answer!

Good morning y'all, happy Taco Tuesday.

Only, I have no tacos so not so happy!

Man, I don't know what it is but allergies are killing me (thanks Texas) and I am just so sleepy. Here's what I have planned:

BS - Coffee, hot and plentiful

B - Slice of sourdough toast with cream cheese, sunflower seeds, cucumber and tomato slices

L - Amy's frozen Mattar Paneer (peas, chickpeas, sauce and jasmine rice) vegetarian

S - Atkins shake

D - Honestly no clue. Could be cheese pizza and salad, could be some soup. Depends on how hot it is and my motivation!

OMG Julia, love your QOTD! I loved all the 80s heartthrobs. Kirk Cameron, NKOTB...I had all the pages of Tiger Beat hanging on my wall. My parents were very liberal in allowing hundreds of tack holes on my wall!

Reading your menu, I wish I could fit tacos into my day. Alas, my meals are all planned already. Maybe tomorrow!

B: Iced coffee and creamer, leftover poki bowl from yesterday's lunch

L: Leftover creamy mustard cast iron chicken thighs. YUM. Kris' over rice

D: Flatbread pizza with turkey pepperoni

E: Spin class, for the first time in like a month. I will likely die since I stupidly went and did rowing and legs last night and I can already feel it!
