Good morning. Accountability this weekend was good and bad, but it gave my therapist and I some good ideas to leverage the good and rework the bad out. I'm excited to see how this week goes and then get to the weekend again. I just don't plan the weekend well. Some of the ideas could be very interesting, especially with a holiday weekend. Weight holding steady.

QOTD. I have 4 pillows, 1 between my legs or under my knees (depending if I'm on my side or back). I have a thin pillow if I'm on my back and a medium pillow if I roll to my side (so it's next to me). Pillow 4 is for my right arm to support my shoulder (I'm a left side sleeper, mainly). The 3 none leg pillows are "MY PILLOW" brand from the infomercial. I had a doctor recommend them to me and I'm loving those pillows. I've had them now about 2 years. Really great in my opinion.

No workout this morning. Early therapy apt and totally sore from massive exercise weekend. I'll target the bike for tonight.

B - 2 eggs, sausage

S - Fruit and yogurt

L - Small salad, chicken burger, orange

S - cheese and lunch meat

D - small salad, pulled pork

I didn't get any walking in this weekend, I spent most of the weekend moving my roommate from his room to my office. It was a long weekend, and I was really sore both nights. The results of the move seem to be good, I only heard his TV infrequently and I tried to ignore it. This proves to me that I need to get rid of a lot of junk, lots of paper and things I should have trashed a long time ago. It just takes too much time to sort and dispose of it, but I need to get it done.

QOTD- It is so hard to find a good pillow, I've tried so many without success. I have so many I need to throw away, but it seems wasteful to just stick them in the trash.

The weather is supposed to be in the high 90's the next few days, so I'll enjoy the last hurrah of summer. And get in my last few miles of the 50.

Have a great day everyone!

Check with your local animal shelter to see if they'll take pillow donations! Ours will use them to help make the dogs more comfortable in their kennels :)

Hoo boy, was it ever a weekend. Little Dude had a very rough few days, and it was stressful for everybody. He was home with a high fever on Friday, then Saturday woke up with an epic gushing nosebleed (that recurred a few times because he can't keep his fingers out of his nose). I thought he was feeling better in the afternoon, so I took him to the gym with me so he could run around, but the daycare staff came and got me out of the pool after about 10 minutes because he wouldn't stop screaming. Poor little guy was miserable.

This morning wasn't much better. We had two full meltdowns between waking up and getting in the car this morning, but once I finally got him some chocolate milk and fruit he was feeling better. When we got to preschool, he said he wanted to nap with his blanket, which is fine by me, and he actually gave me a hug before I left. So tonight we're definitely going to be taking it easy and just resting and watching Sesame Street. Whew!

I've been struggling a bit this weekend as well. I'm having a lot of stomach pains, not in my pouch but in my remnant stomach (maybe?) and of course I'm still exhausted and miserable. I've been going to bed as soon as Little Dude is asleep, which gives me no time to do anything fun for myself, and my poor husband is really worried about me. I know things will get better, I'm still healing and recovering and it won't be like this forever, but we had sort of a joint pity party last night. Pbbt.

QOTD: I sleep on my stomach, one bamboo pillow under my head, one cheap cotton-stuffing one tucked under my arm/stomach. I would love to have a body pillow-- I had an AMAZING huge one while I was pregnant that was super comfy-- but my husband says it takes up too much room.

Chows-- 4 weeks post-op

B: Fairlife milk, half of a Think! bar

L: havarti cheese and a couple of Crunchmaster multi-seed crisps

D: shrimp

S: salami and cheese roll-up, more Fairlife

Exercise: going to go to the pool after Little Dude is in bed, thank goodness the gym is open until 11. I'm going to do my best to take it easy and rest lots so hopefully I don't overdo it.

Hi everyone,

This was my first week post op for the revision. I'm doing really well. I'm no longer in pain, now is the itchy would part. I think I over did it this weekend with my sister. We went to the lake and I walked 2 miles. Then I walked another mile the next day in the heat, I felt it for sure! I haven't excersize yet today, maybe when it's cooled off I'll take a stroll.

QOTD: I have one of those pillows with arms, for when I sit up in bed. And I have three regular pillows and one really soft cushy pillow. Usually I just use one but right now they all feel great. Ha ha

I'm still on full liquids: 2oz every 30 min of protein shake. I sip water in between meals.

Morning- 16oz decaf coffee with 1cup almond milk

1st meal- 30g protein shake

16oz water

2nd meal- 30g protein shake

16oz water

3rd meal- 30g protein shake

16oz water

Snack- SF jello cup

I see my doctor on the third.
