What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?

Morning Everyone! I woke up and it is a really chilly fall morning-- a perfect day to stay in bed for a few more hours... Ohhhhh, how I wish I could!
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was nice--lots of down time but I got through my weekend to-do list, too. We went on a gorgeous walk on Saturday, too! We live in a very densely populated city that has some pretty rough parts, but there is this incredible 650 acre park that had fields, woodlands and ponds. You'd never know you are in a city, when you are there.
Accountability: I ran 3.5 miles yesterday and ate on plan until evening when I got seriously antsy and was CRAVING pastries. I settled for popcorn, and then proceeded to actually dream about donuts...
QOTD: How many pillows do you sleep on? I am struggling to find the right pillow combo lately. I tend to start with 2, and at at some point throw one off and go down to one. I think I need to go pillow shopping, but how can you know if you are getting a good one just by fluffing it in the store?
Exercise: I am driving today, so I will pop over to the gym right after work and get a few miles in on the treadmill.

Good morning, everybody!
Its a rainy Monday morning here in Chicago. I haven't been outside to see the temperature yet. The weekend was good. I finally caught and released some fish on my fly rod. I have caught a number of fish on guided trips in Utah, but never caught any on my own in Illinois. I have a gift certificate from Orvis and didn't want to use it until I could say that I had actually caught something in Illinois. So next weekend I will be heading out to get waders with my certificate. My casting is still not a thing of beauty.
We are going out to dinner tonight because a new person is starting at work. Ordinarily, I would be excited about that, but Monday is such a tough night to go out in the city, I won't get home until late tonight and then immediately have to go back into work.
Doing the 300 workout today. I'm sure Andrew Pleavin's 18:11 is safe, but hopefully I can finish without having to scale. Edit 27:56 as Rx. I guess my second career as a baggy skinned extra at Thermopylae will have to wait.
QOTD: I have three, but most nights use two. If I sleep on my side I have to use one to cushion my bony knees from hitting each other. A good pillow is a treasure.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Protein Bar
Lunch: Chicken
Snack: Light and fit
Dinner: Fish
Have a great day, all!
