What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?

Great pic! A Caribbean vacation sounds great! I was just googling Caribbean cruises out of NYC the other day... There are some pretty inexpensive ones but the reviews said the cruise itself is geared towards really old people, so I'm still looking for a good affordable one!
Mornin' All!
DH sent a list of possible things to do to MIL last night, so we'll see what piques her interest (and thus dictates our weekend). Other than that, the plan is to exercise both days. At the moment, I'm thinking about Zumba this morning - and yoga tomorrow morning. Other than that, who knows??
QOTD: I don'****ch TV at all and haven't for many years. When we're staying at a hotel, we occasionally flip on HGTV or a cable news station, but that's the extent of our TV viewing (and neither of those are old!)
4 years 2 months out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and homemade fruit compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: sushi or a salad with diced turkey breast
AS: light yogurt with raspberries or a SF protein pudding pop
D: pulled pork with grilled zucchini
have a great day, everyone!
Good morning all. I'm a bit bummed today because I was up late last night baking cookies and prepping dinner for tonight because the guy I've been dating was supposed to drive down today (he lives almost 2 hours away). But I haven't heard a word from him so I think I'm being stood up. So yeah, now I have all this food that I can't even eat. Guess I'll be bringing dinner to my parents tonight. Sigh....dating sucks sometimes.
QOTD: my dad and I would always watch the three stooges together. That was our show. I don't see it on much anymore, but when I do I still watch it.
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda
L: boars head turkey and cheese
D: leftover baked salmon and Brussels sprouts
S: maybe another premier if still hungry, but I don't have much of an appetite today.

Boys suck (present company excluded, of course). Sorry--you deserve better!
Thanks! I took all the food and cookies to my parents. They enjoyed it. I just came back home and cried. I know it's silly, but my emotions have been all over the place lately.
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19
Boys come and go but when it's right you'll know hold out for the right one. I didn't find my Mr Right till I was 36. He was 26. If I didn't wait it never would have happened. Always remember patients is a virtue.

Good morning, everybody!
Doesn't a Caribbean cruise in February sound just perfect? We are cruising in Australia and New Zealand at Christmas time, so we are looking forward to that. But unfortunately, by the time that February comes around, that trip will be just a memory and it will be Chicago winter.
We did Murph today at a local park. It was cool because that was the park that I walked around when I was recovering from surgery. As I ran today, I was remembering the jabbing in my side from the liver biopsy that they did as part of my surgery, the constipation and the watching the US Open with Marilyn between naps.
I really beat my time from May. Today was 57:44 and it took me 79:10 on Memorial Day weekend, so my fitness level has improved over the last several months. I did the calisthenics in 25 sections of 4/8/12. Although that doesn't sound a lot different then 20 sections of 5/10/15, I really felt like I was able to keep moving without a lot of rest breaks.
Today we are going out for lunch and probably a few errands. i will watch the game tonight most likely. And there will be football until February!!
QOTD: I can't think of anything recent, but we used to love to watch Get Smart when we were kids
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Protein Bar
Lunch: Korean place
Snack: Jerky
Dinner: Steak
Have a great day, all!
