Good morning menu crew.
i'm feeling pretty proud right now. A friend of mine has decided to never see a doctor again, she's also decided she is going to die...soon. She was loosely diagnosed with some type of cancer but kept canceling the appointment with the dr. I was in turmoil and got really depressed last night after talking to her. She knows how I feel. I made a decision to step back a bit. She seems to call me and unload all the details in a way that seems like a dig. Soooo i'm not going to be available every time she calls. It's incredibly sad for me BUT I didn't turn to food last night. A small win but something i'm proud of.

So sorry your friend feels that dumping her problems on you is a great idea. Friend? Proud of you for not turning to food that's a big plus. Say a prayer for her and cut your losses you have enough on your plate you don't need to eat her leftovers. If you know what I mean!!!!

G'morning all!
I took a hit in the head yesterday, and it's not pretty. It's a deep gash (like an L shape - just like the corner of the cabinet door I decided to bang my head against). This morning I had forgotten about it until the hot shower water hit it...ouch! It started bleeding again. I might go to urgent care today just to see if they want to staple it or if we just let it heal.
Tonight taking DD out for dinner as a family, she leaves on Sat morning, to her favorite restaurant. We (as in she and I along with two of her high school friends and their moms) are going to see Wicked tomorrow night. DH was not happy about her last night plans and was hoping it would involve the whole family, but she changed her return ticket from Sun to Sat morning after we had bought the wicked tickets. Hence the family dinner tonight.
QOTD: we live on a cliff with ocean view, of which I never get tired of. This pic was last night's sunset (not my pic).
There is a stretch of road also that has the perfect Sunset view on the water if you catch it at the right time.
My meals for the day:
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- HB eggs + tuna
- Taking DD out for her last family dinner.
