What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
JB love the meme made me LOL.
QOTD- On shower days 5:30AM and leave before 6:30AM, on regular days by 6AM and out the door before 6:30AM. I work from home on Fridays so I try to start by 6 so I can get off early.
I'm at 45 miles for the 50 challenge so I shouldn't have any issues completing it. I need to start working on running if I plan to do the Race for the Cure.
Accountability was OK, those pesky gummy bears... ended up at 945 calories, 75P, 12F, 137C. My weight has gone done a little only 1.9lbs above my lowest and I know it is water weight as my ring wouldn't go on this morning. I will focus on drinking more water today.
I didn't sleep well, was up at about 2:30 and didn't get back to sleep until about 5 and slept a little past 6:15 so I was about 5 minutes late. I have a counseling appointment this afternoon but will make sure I get my walk in.
Have a great day everyone!

Great job on the challenge! I am finally feeling well and committing to getting back to the gym tomorrow after work! I just need to run about 30 miles to catch up, lol!

Good morning!
I'm 2 days blind loop post op, however my RnY was in 2007.
I'm doing the liquid sipping right now. 3-4 ounces every hour. I'm having lots of bone broth because it's high in protein, 10g per cup. I'm also doing protein shakes and other full liquids until my 2 week post op.
Usually in the morning I like to get up and go, I have a horrible commute. But now I'm thinking I will have to change that if I want this tool to work for me. I'll need to change my morning habits to include making my breakfast and lunch.

Welcome to the menu thread! Hope you are feeling well.
I have a horrible commute too (at least 1.5 hours each way), so I do as much meal prep over the weekend as I can. I write it all up on My Fitness Pal and literally pack the lunches over the weekend and just grab and go!

Hi menu friends! Doing pretty well today, my pouch hasn't tried to kill me so far this morning (yet) so that's always nice. I'm having a hard time taking in a really deep breath, though, my diaphragm feels really tight and poke-y which is probably related to the hernia repair. What a pain!
At least I look cute. We've got off-site visitors and everybody in the office needs to dress up. I got an adorable polka-dot Ralph Lauren dress at Goodwill that was a bit snug a month ago, but fits perfectly now. I'm not one for fancy dress but I feel pretty good!
QOTD: I'm up at about 6:15 and out the door around 6:45. It takes me about 10 minutes to get ready; the rest of the time is spent trying to get my almost-four-year-old up and moving and get him his pre-daycare snack. Little Dude is NOT a morning person and would gladly stay up all night if he could.
Chow: 3 weeks post-op
B: Fairlife milk, 1/3 of a protein bar
L: spicy tuna poke from the Kroger meat counter
D: picking up dinner from somewhere toddler-friendly, so maybe I'll get us tacos and pick myself up a burrito bowl with no rice? The Taco Bell bowl has chicken, black beans, guac, and lettuce and that's not too bad.
S: Greek yogurt, lots of Fairlife
E: Maybe taking a walk tonight if I've got the strength

Yay for perfectly fitting into your new dress, well done! I have a closet literally full of Ralph Lauren dresses. I'm a big fan of his jersey styles with ruching on one side, whether boat-neck, V-neck, scoop neck, or with a cowl. They are always very feminine, slimming and flattering - they really accentuate whatever waist you have. I also have some of his without the ruching - slim shifts - and even a couple of evening-only numbers. However, they all make me look notably overdressed up here in Seattle, the land of flannel, thermo-waffle, and fleece, worn with either bare feet and flip flops or heavy socks with hiking boots. I have felt like a fish out of water up here in a lot of ways!

The fleece and shorts thing is here too -- It's like "only my top half has to be warm".
