What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?

It's not Everest, it's K2 but have you read Savage Summit by Jennifer Jordan? It's about the first women to successfully summit K2 and it's fascinating, infuriating and a *****illing but so so good. I also love Ed Viesturs books; if you get a chance to see him speak, he's amazeballs.

JB, feel better. Good morning everyone. Accountability 5 by 5 - Yes! Finally. My trainer was happy as I was down 3 from last week (which was some due to a weekend spike up). But eating was good and I felt comfortable. The evening activity also helped.
QOTD - I don't spend a lot of time on internet, except for the 20 or 30 minutes a day on OH. Maybe checking my yahoo account.
PWO - 2 protein bites
B - Half veggie/meat omelette. Some pineapple, strawberries and mango. Breakfast buffet at work due to the events I mentioned from Friday. It's nice they are feeding the team working round the clock to launch a new product and allowing the rest of us on the team to enjoy after they eat. I was on the launch team until I needed to shift roles 2 months ago, so no one is saying anything to me. But they have been having health options too. I've snagged some Vitamin Zero water and almonds and oranges so far. I've stayed away from the candy and cakes that have also been on the table
L - small salad and chicken burger, orange
S - deli meat/salami
D - small salad and chicken burger
S - cup frozen berries
WO - Spinning class at health club and 45 min trainer; tonight I'll work core and foam roll
HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)
RNY November 2016
PS: L/R arm skin removal; belt panniculectomy - April, 2019
Mernin' y'all!
In other news, Texas is still hot AF.
Last night, we found an amazing Italian restaurant so I'm super happy to have leftovers today!
B - Coffee, lots of it (w/splenda)
S - Atkins shake
L - Leftover cheese ravioli with mushroom pesto sauce (vegetarian)
D - Not sure, probably something light like salad or veggies
S - Atkins shake
QOTD - This one is interesting for me! I happen to work with someone who is so interesting, we talk all day about things like ghosts, history, aliens, etc. You just never know. My most recent rabbit hole (internet) has been conspiracy theories, and that just leads to so much reading. No pagan motorcycle gang research, but my husband does ride a Harley so...I'll just base all I know on him!
I hope you all have a lovely day!
Stay cool, and MTFBWY always.

Let it begin with me.

hello friends...I am late again as I seem to always be busy in the mornings these days but hey I am here.
we met Story's teachers last night and got to see her school. it's super nice which I was pretty much counting on considering the whole reason we chose the house we did was because the school district was rated the highest (10/10)...her first day is tomorrow so I took the day off so I could drop her off and pick her up...and of course take all the stereotypical first day of school photos lol.
We ended up going out for dinner last night afterwards so I had half a chili omelette and a few bites of home fries and then I decided to eat a piece of the rye toast also. I felt kinda crappy for a while after but I guess I just haven't learned my lesson about eating bread yet.
I am still hovering at about 152 for the past week or so. I know I keep telling myself I am going to hunker down but then I don't. I need a motivator to get me back on track. If I can convince DH to do a CAMAW week with me I think that's what I really need...especially after all the vacation eating last week. it's HARD to carb detox!
QOTD: I fall into the pinterest rabbit hole a lot! I can browse for HOURS and have zero idea how long it's been. I've got a lot of strange pinterest boards, mainly arts/crafts/homemade projects...but then I end up in body painting, special effects makeup, miniature model making...all kinds of cool/weird stuff.
Morning: coffee w/sf coffeemate
B: L&F greek yogurt & a Peach
L: leftover half omelette from dinner last night
AS: maybe more yogurt or half a premier protein shake w/some decaf.
D: I'll probably make the apple chicken sausage & bean soup I didn't make yesterday if DH doesn't make it or something else before I get home.
ES: carrots & hummus, turkey meat stick/string cheese

I am not allowed on Pinterest after 7pm anymore because there have been too many times that I see something on Pinterest in the middle of the night then "sleep-shop" and buy all the things I need to make it on Esty. Last year I got 3 of the same exact cookie cutter by accident and didn't remember ordering any of them until they showed up!

Good afternoon folks.
Been a quiet day for the most part. Thunder this morning but no rain for us. I am however exhausted to the core. I have walked & cleaned a lot and just have the dishes left to do.
i'm learning I can't have crackers around. It's just a slider food and they are bad! My mom bought three different kinds of crackers yesterday. It is frustrating. I'm frustrating! I've also had a sore throat the past few days. I'm sure it's from heartburn and sinus issues.
A friend i've had for almost 15+ years is basically killing herself. I'm struggling with that and my homework for my counseling appointment next week. Running close to empty. I need to get the stuff with my father's estate wrapped up and his ashes dealt with. It's bothering me tremendously to have his ashes here. It's just odd. When his bank account closes i'm going to try and pay my aunt back for the cost of his cremation. We'll see how much he has in there first.
Anyways...QOTD: i'd Say ellipticals. I want to get one soonish but nothing big. I found one that is a "portable" one you can use sitting or standing. I used a recumbent type elliptical before surgery and I wish I could afford that but I can't justify the cost(I simply don't have the extra money).
b:1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1 tbs powdered pb, 3 clubhouse crackers
s:5 vanilla wafers :(
l:PP shake
s: light n fit yogurt
d: going to try chicken thighs tonight thanks to a tip from here! Hoping it'll sit well!
exercise: over an hour of walking and just basic housecleaning.
