Another quick post for accountability today. Lily and I have a nice long walk in and will do more later. Accountability was perfect food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 122.2 today. I did switch out dinner but ended up the same stat wise. Here's the food plan for the day B 2/3c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz deli chicken and cheese D 4 oz shrimp and 3 bites grilled brussel sprouts S probably none. Have a wonderful day full of smart choices everyone!
Mornin' Everyone!
I went back and bought this mid-century dresser yesterday that I first spotted at an antique store over the weekend. DH and I brought it home last night, took the old one out to the garage, and put this one in its place. It looks great! And much better quality than the old one - this one looks better at 60 years old than the old one did at 20. Which brings me to the QOTD - I spent gobs of time last night reading up on G-Plan (Gomme Limited) mid-century dressers, which this one is.
I did make it to yoga yesterday and my eating was much better, and I was down a little over a pound this morning. YAY! Hoping for a repeat today (well, I WILL do the same today!)
4 years 2 months out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt, diced peach, and SF syrup, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: salad with diced turkey breast
AS: frozen protein shake or L&F yogurt
D: I may make pulled pork today. If so, that and grilled zucchini
have a great day, all!

Ok you just sent me down the rabbit hole with you! My dad worked in a really mod 70s office and the dressers with the wooden pull handles remind me of the look they had going on there :)

I love a lot of mid-century stuff. Not all - but a lot of it! They had this great Danish teak china cabinet at that antique store, too, that would look FABULOUS in my mother-in-law's new apartment. She has this long wall in her "dining room" (it's actually an open concept apt - but it's in the dining room section) that she's been pondering - she has no idea what to put there. This thing would be perfect. I like it so much I'd almost be willing to buy the damn thing for her!
