I used to work at McDs as a teenager, and even after 30 years, I still won't eat their burgers. The smell when you work there is just so intense and gross--no matter how many times you shower, the smell doesn't go away. I think every person struggling with weight issues should be forced to work there so that they can become repulsed by the smell, too!

No interesting photos here... I have gotten on so many times this week and never hit 'send' I didn't realize I actually posted. Ha.

Yesterday the menu I posted was a fantasy but it was still a good day.

QOTD: Actually at this point I have no magazines coming in - recently though I have had- Martha Stewart Living, Women's Health, Shape.

B: egg whites w/veggies and LF Swiss

L: chicken on salad w/Thai peanut dressing

D: TBD

S: protein, Greek yogurt and cantaloupe, maybe pumpkin muffins

Good morning. Accountability continues to be very good, just a few squares of unplanned dark chocolate and a few nuts last night. Weight continues down and should be back to my low in a few more days.

QOTD - I get Men's Health, I think it started as a work discount thing, but my wife gets these millions of points for magazines and now I think it's free (or so called, depending on what those points are costing me). I actually like the magazine and see no reason to cancel it. I also get a Sunday paper. I still like to sit and read it and feel the paper while I'm having coffee. An expensive indulgence for sure.

Didn't workout this morning. My quad was very sore with last nights ride (it was a hard one) - Disco themed. The disco theme meant you were spinning super hard or slow under extreme resistance. I was beat and the only residual soreness from my fall on Wednesday night was my quad. So it wasn't happy this morning. I may spin tonight or just work upper body.

B - Second half of the omelette from yesterday and half cup oatmeal (Free oatmeal Friday) mixed with a little protein powder to balance it out.

L - 3 oz smoked chicken (Costco), half ounce salami and small salad with ounce cheese

S - Fage and some nuts

D - Smoked chicken mixed into chicken chili with a small salad

S - Cup frozen mango

Photo - this week happens to be my annual eye exam week. I had just started by supervised weight loss to prep for surgery three years ago, so the pix is not at my high (but close****ep the corner of the wall picture in frame to align my progress photos. Here's the 3 year view.


HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

Thank you both. It's fun, but definitely hard, as you know. Today at work will be a big day. We are supposed to get a new product approved today by the FDA and that means food will be everywhere. So far it's just donuts. Man I loved those in my past and I have two by my house that make the most delicious and unique donuts. However, even on a big pouch day, I just can't eat donuts. Way too sweet now and my pouch always reminds me it doesn't like them anymore. So the blinders will have to go up, especially for the cake I bet they'll have in the atrium this afternoon. So I'll just ask for extra strength today and make it strong! Have a good day.
