What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Mornin' All!
I saw that pumpkin spice Spam ad last night and immediately posted it to Facebook. UNBELIEVABLE. The only thing that comes close to that in weirdness are the pumpkin spice dog biscuits I saw somewhere a year or two ago. Oh - and I also saw pumpkin spice salmon a couple of years back at some grocery store. What will they think of next??
I'm talking to a pre-op group later on this morning and have to stuff envelopes and get a mailing out for my organization someone today. A horticulturalist friend is coming over this afternoon to give me some suggestions on landscaping the area around our porch. Other than that, not sure --- other than I have to get some kind of exercise today.
QOTD: we subscribe to the local newspaper and have a digital subscription to the Washington Post. I've been a member of AARP for the last 10 years and get their magazine regularly. Other than that, we get magazine subscriptions here and there via airline miles. Right now I think we're getting the Smithsonian, Food & Wine, and Healthy Eating (or Eating Well - or something like that).
4 years 2 months out:
B: protein pancakes topped with a homemade fruit compote and plain Greek yogurt, coffee with half & half
MS: protein bar
L: either sushi or a salad with diced turkey
AS: protein shake or light yogurt with raspberries
D: whatever I don't have for lunch
have a great day, everyone!

I saw the PS Spam on the local news. The anchors were hilarious when they were talking about trying it... I was googling to try to see if I could find the clip no luck...

friday, how I've missed you...but not as much as your sibling Saturday! Our meeting today is only 7 to 2 and no after hours event, yay!!
Qotd - I have been winnowing and cancelling but I still get too many - Archeology, Vanity Fair, Saveur, Nuitrition (aka the food police monthly) and eating well are the ones that will make it through the purge, I think.
Menu today - can I just go with coffee? Outside of that I am in the dark. I am ready to get home, lol.
accountability - good on fluids and on plan choices all around.
im getting my hair cut in the am, thinking about this cut but not sure how the extreme bangs would look on me - so my pix today are my most recent photo and the lovely Helen Morten, lol. Thoughts? (Sorry if they are huge my phone does the wacky sometimes)
Have a terrific Friday and weekend!

I think that haircut would be cute! If your concerned about the heavy bangs, maybe just have them texturize them. Please post pictures of your after.

Oh that's a good idea on the bangs! Thank you!

1.) I think the hair style would look fantastic on you.
2.) I LOVE the term "does the wacky".
3.) I hope I age as gracefully as Helen Mirren. Hell, I wish I looked as good NOW as she does in her 70's.
I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

I love the haircut idea--the bangs are great as long as they leave them a bit long so you can sweep them to the side if you like...that's kinda how my haircut is. I love having short hair but I need to leave longer bangs because of my 6-head. haha
