What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
G'morning all,
Julia - I second what Daisy said. Take care of yourself and don't set the precedent of long hours. But so happy work is going well.
It's first day of school in this household. We have bought a sonic alarm for DS, hoping wake ups are easier this year around. The alarm practically wakes up the whole neighborhood with its sound, red lights flashing and a bed shaker. This morning he slept through it, hoping tomorrow is gonna he better. Took the pic of first day and it's bittersweet because it's the last first day of school.
QOTD: lounge wear, yoga wear, house dress...whatever you wanna call it I'm in it if I don't have meetings. During summer I have those Hawaiian mumus, very flowy and airy, love them.
Accountability: great
My meals for the day:
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- Turkey and cheese slices
- Shredded pork & mashed cauliflower
- Home made yogurt with a couple of blackberries
Happy hump day, everyone.
Even though he is not my favorite person at the time I still love him to pieces. kindergarten vs sr year.

Love those pics! The alarm clock story is cracking me up. My bff and former roommate is like that. Literally nothing wakes her up. We got her one of those alarm clocks that jumps off the table and rolls around so you have to get up and chase it. She just lets it go off under the bed for 2 hours... I can't fathom it.

Me neither, as soon as my alarm goes off I'm up, completely awake...but with him it takes him 30-45 minutes to come completely awake. Drives me bananas.

I haven't heard my alarm in years. I set it every day but I wake up at least 15 minutes before it every day! I hate it and love it all at once...

Good morning JB and menu folks, I wish there were options to choose Laugh or something other than like as I always laugh at the memes you post JB. I have to add that it is nice to see some friends posting on here as well - Daisy and Chassidy!!! Was back to work yesterday after our mini vacation to Indiana/Chicago for a day, had a great time , though a long drive.
QOTD - Haha - this is too much information, my routine is I come in the door and off come my clothes and throw them in the basement, we keep a laundry basket at the bottom of the stairs. I am laughing as a couple of weeks ago I came home and did not follow my routine, I had to go to the bathroom really bad, I run upstairs and My sons girlfriend was in his room, Thank god I did not follow my routine, It could have been an embarassing situation for both of us. I have since told my son to let me know when she is hanging around when he is working...LOL
Accountability - just terrible. I am Mike and I made some poor choices while on Vacation, Chicago style hot dogs, Fried tenderloin in Indiana, desserts and beer. I am back on the wagon, we have two parties this weekend and I will consume no alcohol and will follow my program. I cannot eat carbs and stay at the weight at maintnenance weight.
B- egg salad
S- ham roll up
L - salami and cheese
S - cukes and dip
D - Tbone and grilled asparagus
E - night off a**** it hard last night and need to get some chores done around the house tonight.

Hola, amigos! I am trucking along here in Mexico...why don't we all live here? People are so friendly, kiss hello and good-bye, and there is salsa with every meal! Am I in heaven or what?
JB, I have to agree with the others, I can't imagine a two hour commute but please don't leave the house at 6 am and get home at 8 pm everyday. It's not good for you!!!
QOTD: I work from home so it's lounge clothes or workout clothes EVERY DAY. I am in the midst of some crazy work travel right now so ugh, waistbands.
My menu is up in the air but I still wanted to come and participate. So far, I have only had breakfast. Lunch will be sushi (literally every single meal I have had since Sunday is Mexican but there is a sushi place across the street so before my flight to Monterrey we will hit it up).
B: One coffee with warmed cream, small cheese and chicken tinga quesadilla (small corn tortilla) with all the salsas, two bites of papaya (so fresh!)
L: Sushi
D: Somewhere cute in San Pedro in Monterrey. We have customer meetings tomorrow so tonight will be low key!
E: I had a 1:1 with my boss first thing this morning so no gym for me. I suck.
Have a great day!
Salsa with everything, the hotter the better.

Sounds heavenly. I often wish that Canada would invade Mexico and take it over. Canadian policies with Mexican weather is a dream, right?
