Good morning everybody!

So excited about yesterday's participation! Daisy, Em, Janet, Cara and almost everybody else. I think that Yvonne said that she is at the beach this week, hopefully she is getting good weather and warm water to swim in.

Barbara was a mean girl. 54:05. And while I was at the gym it started to pour. Apparently, as a result of the rain, the frogs came out. So, I'm driving home in a torrential downpour, soaked in sweat, gasping for air and frantically swerving to avoid running over a near Biblical plague of frogs. If truth be told, I am also a pretty slow driver, so all of this is happening at a decelerated pace. I was afraid that the police would pull me over for driving under the influence, and I would have to warm them over with a delirious, sweaty story of frogs and Pharaohs, pull-ups and lactic acid.

When I got home I began to wonder if it wasn't my imagination.

I have done the math, and I only ran about 7 miles last week, so I am not going to do the 50 mile challenge. I don't have the timetable or daylight to make it up and I'm not a good enough runner that I can bite off 8 or 9 mile chunks on a Sunday to cover.

QOTD: Planning ahead what I am going to eat for the day. I don't always follow it, but I find myself much less likely to make truly terrible choices if I have a healthy go to.

Breakfast: hamburger

Snack: protein bar

Lunch: Ahi Tuna Salad

Snack: Jerky

Dinner TBD

Have a great day,
all!

I'm the same - I don't always follow my menu plan exactly, but thinking about it and writing it down every morning keeps my head in the game and sets me up to eat correctly (most of the time, anyway!) even if I happen to deviate from my stated menu plan.

Happy to throat punch Barbara if you want, she is truly a meanie, pull ups, push ups & sit ups???

I love frogs so I probably would have pulled over and started to rescue them all. I would pay money to overhear the convo with you and a cop "Officer I swear it was Barbara and the frogs that made me do it!"

Good morning menu friends! Lily and I have 3 miles done. We had to cut it a bit short as it started raining. Poison ivy looks a bit better today butit still is really itchy and painful. And the prednisone--my worst enemy-'it makes me want to eat all the food. And I mean all. I am proud of myself that there were no extra bites taken yesterday but I did knit 1 and a half baby sweaters to keep my hands busy. Accountability was spot on food wise but I only got a short walk with Lily. Weight is 122.2 today. QOTD posting and being here on OH daily. You all keep me accountable ! Here's the food plan for the day B 2/3c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz tuna D 4oz pulled pork with sugar free BBQ sauce S if needed 1/2 c blueberries. Have a wonderful day full of smart choices everyone!

Good morning. Well, day 2 of getting back on the wagon started out bumpy when I forgot my breakfast and lunch at home.

QOTD: when I was doing well, I was here posting daily and doing MFP plus weighing daily. Somehow out of sight=out of mind for me, so the pants getting tighter wasn't a huge deal. Seeing the number on the scale however, scared the bejesus out of me.

B- 2 boiled eggs, a few strawberries & pineapple

L- not sure, have to pick something from cafeteria but will be strict protein

D- pork loin & green beans

S- cherries I didn't eat yesterday or cheese stick

Have a great day everyone!
