What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
We JUST got back from an ENT appt for DS. Dr recommended removing tonsils and scheduled him for 12/24 - xmas eve. He is NOT happy.

My son had his first case of tonsillitis at 10 months and at least 2x a year after that. Plus ear infections when he was young. It was never often enough for his Dr to approve surgery. He still gets tonsillitis really bad now and it breaks my heart.

We did a sleep study for him and the sleep dr recommended the tonsils removal. At 17 he has a mild case of sleep apnea and they say in the case of kids his age by removing the tonsils the sleep apnea goes away. Here's hoping it's true. He hasn't had issues with infections or throat.

Happy Monday party people!
Today is definitely a back to basics day for me.
Breakfast - Yogurt, cheddar cheese and 2 boiled egg whites
Lunch - Vegetarian salad from Salata, soooo good! I had an oreo too!
Dinner - honestly, probably an atkins shake or two. It's so damn hot here in San Antonio, the thought of eating a meal in the evening is not appetizing.
Have a great day everyone!

Let it begin with me.
03/2009 - SW:261 GW 135 (CW:131)
I have 14.1 miles in on the 50 for the month, so I'm hoping I'll be able to make it.
Weekend was OK, I love movies and decided to buy the Regal Unlimited pass. So I saw Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and The Kitchen this weekend. Too much popcorn... and not enough water yesterday.
Ended up at 1023 calories, 60P, 31F & 126C. Calories were OK but the carbs were too high. I should be a lot better today.
QOTD- 6/2/16 I'm a contractor so usually looking for a new job. The company is supposed to be bought by another one close the sale by the end of the year. I'm hoping to be made an employee of the new company, but you never know. I also passed a test for another job that would be union, including benefits, 401K, vacation and since I'm a former employee I could have my time bridged and make out really well. Keep your fingers crossed...
Roommate situation is better. I have 3 bedrooms that are right in a row, the master at the back. The one I moved him into shares a wall with the master so we are going to move my office so there is one bedroom between us, which should help with noise issues. There is more light in my office the other room has a tree right in front of it so it's a lot darker. I'll miss my office, but I like my sleep more.
Have a great day everyone!
