Good morning! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! Today we are taking the dogs to the park, going to the gym - hopefully to try a new aqua fit class but if not that, then yoga. After we are doing house stuff and BBQ and movie later. I hate that it's Saturday and I was up at 5am, oh well. At least I didn't have to hit the ground running and go to work!

QOTD - What gym type shoes do you swear by? I have always worn Nike and the last 5 years have been the pegasus line specifically but I recently bought a pair of New Balance 1080v9 and they are CUSHY and awesome. Totally in LOVE!

Accountability - great

Up early here too and Miss Lily and I have our 3.4 miles in already. We'll do another mile sometime today as well. Accountability yesterday was good stepwise but only for with food. Not really a good choice at the in laws for supper--veggie or regular lasagna. I had the veggie one because it had fewer calories but the carb overload has left me feeling bloated and yucky today and weight is up at 122.6. Yuck! I did great on fluids though and that's the goal for today. QOTD I usually have Nike shoes but bought a pair of UnderArmour ones recently and like them too. Here's the food plan for the day B 2/3c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz chicken salad D light protein out--maybe fish? Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!

Mornin'!

I was up late today for me - 7:00 a.m. - so I missed my sunrise yoga class. It's a beautiful day, though, so DH wants to go for a walk. Perfect. I may do some yoga later - there are lots of good videos on youtube.

I did fine yesterday up until I decided to have some homemade frozen yogurt with my grilled peach. It was so good that I ate WAY too much of it, so I went too far over on my calories. Not making that again. I do better with frozen protein shakes, for some reason. Maybe they're not as good...

we're hoping to get MIL out today. I know she's still very stressed (set off by the move) which is making her miserable, and her way of dealing with that is to isolate herself, but she's doing too much of that. I hope we can get her out - or hang out with her in her apt - for at least a little while today.

QOTD: I have two pairs of Saucony walking shoes (black ones and beige ones - so I have a pair to go with everything!) and a pair of Ryka training shoes for cardio classes at the gym. I love them all!

4 years 2 months out:

B: protein pancakes topped with plain Greek yogurt and homemade strawberry/rhubarb sauce, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: if we're home, a salad with diced turkey and light Asian sesame dressing

AS: light yogurt and/or raw veggies with ranch Greek yogurt

D: pulled pork and grilled zucchini

have a great Saturday, everyone!

Good morning, everybody.

I haven't got taken off of my CPAP yet, and now I think that the mask doesn't fit on face anymore. I feel like its doing more harm then good. I wake up and it feels like its blowing air into my eyes. This morning, I took it off and just slept regular. I am supposed to have a take home sleep test shortly and can hopefully get taken off of the thing.

Today's agenda is to patch some holes in my screen porch doors that Marilyn can paint them tomorrow. These doorsonlye need paint on one side, but have some damage. Overall, this part of the project is going much faster. I think that we are going to see Spider Man tonight.

QOTD: I usually wear ASICS and like them. My sons have Brooks for some fit issues and also seem to like those.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch: Chicken

Snack: Jerky

Dinner: Turkey Burger

Have great day, all!

Good Saturday afternoon.

no doubting it...I feel like crap. I had to retake the saliva cortisol test last night. I'm really sick of feeling sick! To say my energy levels are low implies I have any at all. Enough whining, sorry about that.

today looks ok I guess. Nothing big planned.

qotd:I haven't had a decent pair of gym shoes in a long time. Right now the ones I use are from Walmart. Can't really afford a nice fitting pair yet.

b:pp shake

s:baby bel light cheese

l:eggplant, mushrooms and 1 oz of lunch meat

s:light n fit yogurt

I was a security consultant and had an assignment with ascsis shoes. When I called ahead to inquire about the dress code for their offices, I was told there are two rules. Never show up here wearing a suit and never show up here wearing anything with a Nike swoosh.

It was a very laid back office. They brought their dogs to work with them and the CEO wore blue jeans, a tee shirt, and a ballcap.

Anyone who did show up in a suit really stood out like a sore thumb. I think security stopped them from entering if they had a Nike swoosh. They had a store where you could get really good deals on ascsis. And they do not like anyone to capitalize their name. I stocked up on their shoes and they were great shoes.
