Kind of switched things up lunch was dinner and I had 1/2 cup of soup with some ultra thin taco shell ground up in it. Snack for the later part is a homemade popsicle & powdered peanut butter.

my doctors visit ended with more questions. I have to take birth control now due to hormonal issues(free testosterone was high) and now i'm being tested for Cushing's syndrome.

Good morning! I was in Denver all weekend. My cousin was meeting an author, Pierce Brown, who I got to meet as well, and while I haven't read his YA Sci-Fi series (Red Rising), I'll certainly be picking it up! I got the newest 5th book signed. He was super charismatic and funny and after hearing him talk about his book I'm very interested.

My cousin has a Tesla, so some of the fun of the trip was testing some of its autopilot capabilities, as well as road tripping in an electric car. Stopping to charge was way less of a hassle than people give it credit for. The superchargers at our stops charged the vehicle in 15-45 minutes depending on how low we were starting, and we needed to stop and pee anyway. The longest charge happened to be at lunchtime, so we plugged in the car and walked to a nearby restaurant, and the car was ready when we were done.

My eating there was less than perfect and we can leave it there. Meals weren't terrible choices but there was a lot of garbage snacking. I didn't weigh today because I know the scale will be up, at least with water bloat, so I'm going to go light for a few day**** the water heavy, and weigh at the end of the week.

Breakfast: coffee with Premier

lunch: salad with added chicken

snack: 1/2 C low-fat cottage cheese

dinner: 4 oz salmon, 4-6 asparagus spears

Monday-Monday, how rude are you? ~ I had such a lovely weekend that I didn't want it to end - I need more! I was a perfect keto girl all weekend, but I am up a pound up today and not happy about that...but I'm sure it's nothing. I'll just keep on keeping on! Today I am working late and it's a no gym day. Not much else going on.

QOTD - I'm on time like 95% of the time - late people drive me crazy!!!

Accountability - spot on!

TSS 2 years, 8 months - 172.1

Have a great day!!

Morning everyone!

I had a pretty exhausting weekend mostly because my daughter was being insane all day Saturday with her 4-year-old-self. She is going through something developmentally I am sure, and it's all about testing boundaries and being defiant. it's very testing on the patience.
We managed to have a mostly good day yesterday, we went to a local Art street faire with one of my friends for her birthday and they had a bunch of kids projects so it kept her busy for about 2 hours and then we hung out at the beach for a bit before dinner. she went to sleep pretty quickly and I was extremely thankful lol.

QOTD: I am usually early for everything because I hate being late...but since I had a kid, there have been more incidents of running late. I hate it but sometimes a kid needs to go potty or gets sick, etc. not much I can do to avoid it.

I'm up 2.5 lbs and need to get back on track, so no evening snacking for me the next few days. I know I'll be eating off plan a bit over our vacation later this week so I want to try to get this under control before it becomes unmanageable.

Morning: coffee w/SF creamer
B: 1/2 C cottage cheese & 2oz black forrest ham w/EBB seasoning and dill
L: broccoli salad w/rotisserie chicken
AS: L&F greek yogurt & a peach
D: more broccoli salad & chicken (this recipe made SO MUCH and we need to eat it all before we leave for vacation Thursday lol)

Morning. Late post for me. I've been at work for a while, but wa**** with some rushes that needed to happen before my time kicked in. Saturday was good. concert night at the arboretum. It's always nice to picnic under the stars. Yesterday I had to work some, run errands and then meet up with a friend. Food choices were not good. Mac and cheese and a bite of carrot cake may have been consumed yesterday.

QOTD: early. I go crazy if I'm running late. I also have that friend who is habitually late. We used to place bets on what time she would get places and the loser would have to pay for drinks. Which could get expensive because more times than I can count we would order extra drinks so the wait staff didn't get too annoyed with us. We also tried the telling her a different time trick, etc. Nothing. We were at dinner for a friend's birthday once and they wouldn't allow us to order until we were all there. They sent me to call her and she hadn't left yet because she couldn't decide what to wear. "Stacy please tell them there's an accident on the freeway." Me: "JUST GET HERE!!!!"

My plan:

B: 1 costco egg bite

L: BBQ Chicken breast

D: steak most likely

S: homemade latte, cherries

E: Unsure. Maybe spin, but I'm hoping that my contact lenses are in and that I can pick them up after work

One year we had Thanksgiving dinner planned for 3pm, so we told my cousin that dinner was starting at noon. She literally showed up at 8pm (with appetizers).
