What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
You absolutely did the right thing...they absolutely need to come up with a safer solution to their sanitizing practice...( cones out...drying the surface...safer environment). Letting the owner/manager know gives the person a chance at New procedures and hopefully keeps someone else from getting injured... sometimes just telling personnel doesn't get the job done...I would absolutely want to know... this isn't a 'dont make waves situation' it's a try to prevent it in the future thing. Take care
Not wrong at all. The front desk should have been more pro-active. All you want is for them to put a policy in place to not mop when clients are around. Having told the front desk (even on the off chance they didn't see you falling - which is not true) wouldn't have been enough.
Love the new glasses.

First of all--love the glasses!!!
But second...seriously??? I can't believe someone made you feel badly about that! I know I am talking to a lawyer here, so I don't need to tell you why having a record of it is important, on top of legitimately wanting to make sure others are safe... Don't spend a minute feeling badly. At least it sounds like the owner is taking it seriously.

If I were the studio owner - I'd want to know! You did the right/responsible thing and you were nice about it. Don't feel bad. You may have saved someones else's' ass from a fall or law suit!
