Good morning OH! Feeling pretty damn good today, plus its my Friday - yay! My sons birthday is tomorrow so I am spending the day with him - lunch, a movie and some birthday shopping. Then he is off to celebrate with his friends. I'm also getting my blood work done tomorrow morning, I've put it off long enough and I see my PCP next Friday. Swimming was amazing yesterday - I forgot HOW GOOD the water feels. I was able to swim pretty much straight through without stopping or much issue other than a few shoulder twinges. My new suit was great - I didn't have a care in the world. Today is cardio and only mid/low body circuit work - I need to rest the shoulder.
QOTD - I was a super gullible kid. My sister used to mess with me and song lyrics - for instance she told me that song "Looks like we made it' was actually 'Looks like tomatoes" and I belted that out with confidence and was teased mercilessly! This was also the sister that that made me pay her a nickle to let me help her with the dishes. Good times...
Accountability - switched out planned dinner for a different keto dinner - all great stuff

Morning and happy thursday!! This week has been long, yet fast if that's at all possible. Well no exercise for me as I spent part of my day on the floor in my office with my legs up on my chair. I may try spin tonight to see if I can stretch it out, but I've learned my lesson and will not even think about putting shoes on until my ass is in the saddle. I had sent an email to the owner of the studio to tell her what happened and basically to ask her to tell the front desk girls not to mop before class anymore. Look, I'm an attorney and risk averse, if I can prevent it from happening again, I will. Also, i don't want anything from them, I'm fine. But there are people out there who would definitely try to take advantage of what happened and either seek unnecessary treatment or try to get stuff from them. It's just not me. So of course I get an email about free classes. Sigh. No thanks, just be more careful in the future, mkay???
QOTD: Can't think of anything off the top of my head. Although we did try to convince one of my friends that chocolate milk came from brown cows. She was a true believer for a hot minute.
My plan:

D: no idea. Spin tonight so depends on which class I take and when i get home
S: homemade latte, cottage cheese with raspberries
E: spin if I can move at the end of the day

QOTD: when I was a child my mom used to tell me if I swallowed a watermelon seed that I'd grow a watermelon in my stomach. I was so scared that I would accidentally swallow one. Lol

Good afternoon!
i'm feeling more upbeat emotionally today than I have in a while. My pouch is still a mess but i'm learning still.
i'm taking the day off vigorous exercise as my sciatic nerve is screaming at me on my left leg. I walked around Walmart for over an hour so that will have to do! I made some French onion soup yesterday, sat extremely well but ended up making me sick. It was sooooo good. I didn't put cheese or eat any bread with it.
Still having ing a hard time with dense proteins and it's frustrating me. I see my surgeon at the end of this month so i'll be talking to him about it.

So I lied! I went ahead and worked out. I feel better too.
dinner was some 2 stuffed small mushrooms. Baked and with cheese on the inside. Also an oz of chicken lunch meat.

I left work early today because I threw my back out. I've been using the heating pad and ice since 1pm. hopefully it will help. Haven't eaten much today do to the pain. I sooooo wish I could take Advil!

I throw mine out regularly and it doesn't want to heal. Get plenty of rest and heat. Hope you're feeling much better soon!
