morning everyone! Happy Wednesday! I hurt my back last night. I was sitting outside the spin room getting my shoes on. I noticed one of the front desk girls mopping the floor, but didn't really think anything of it. I stood up with my spin shoes on (like I do every single class I take there), took a step and my legs flew out from under me. I landed flat on my back. She definitely saw me because she said "are you ok?" Ummm no, not really ok. I got up and went into class, hoping that I could stretch it out. Every time we changed positions on the bike, I let out a yelp. By the time I got home, it was difficult to get out of the car. I have a huge knot on the right side of my lower back and one on my left butt cheek. I'm not really happy today. I sent an email to the owner of the studio just to tell her what happened and to ask that she tell the girls not to mop before class anymore. I've learned my lesson. I will put my shoes on and take them off in the spin room.

E: up in the air. I took myself out of class tonight right before I would face a penalty charge, but put myself on the wait list. I'm not good about letting myself heal, and I think the heat in the room and the stretch will be beneficial
That does not sound good.
Have you consider seeing a chiropractor? I know a whack like that would mess me up. Hope it is nothing major.
