Hello! I am just checking one thing after another off of my "Super-Fun-Time-Off-Bucket List"! Tonight I am going to a Red Sox game with Grim and my parents. Not going to lie--there is going to be a very non-Keto, off-plan, terrible food moment in my day, but I am cool with this plan... I am sure at least 3/4 of you have already heard me talk about these crazy delicious biscuits at the BBQ place next to the ballpark. I have even brought Maryann, Cynthia and Daisy there, haha, because they are seriously the best food we have in Boston. So yeah, I am eating there tonight and there will be a biscuit and a fun fruity drink.

Yesterday I went to the gym, and just a few steps in, I felt a twinge in my outer right ankle. I slowed down and it felt better but it happened a few more times until, when I was a little over a mile in, it really screamed. I stopped immediately and decided that instead of a beach day, I needed to get myself over to get fitted for running shoes. I am the proud new owner of some cute Brooks sneakers that compensate for my right foot over-pronating.

Accountability: Obvi, I didn't finish my 5K, but I biked and ate on plan :)

QOTD: Do you have any fun made up games that you play? Grim loves to quiz me when we are flipping through channels by choosing a women's hairstyle and asking me to date the movie. I am soooo good at it! I can usually get it within a year or so :)

Exercise: I am going to stick to biking and do some strengthening exercises for my foot before I try to get back to running.

Hey look! It was two years ago since we hosting our epic east coast OH meetup in our backyard!

Good morning, everybody!

JB, have fun at the game tonight. When we were in Boston about seven years ago we got Red Sox tickets with my sister's family and we sat in the Bleachers right behind the Ted Williams seat ( For non-New Englanders - one red bleacher chair marking an impossibly long home run that Ted William**** in 1946, which modern players can't reach, even in practice). I was so excited!! Around the third inning, as the initial food rush wore off, my sons turned to us and said "can we go now, this is so boring?"

I don't think that I know the barbecue place that you are speaking of. All that I can recollect next door is the souvenir shop and the Cask and Flaggon.

QOTD: when I am watching football, I play a game called "Where would they mark that for Peyton?". I watch where the player carrying the ball is tackled and estimate where the referees would have marked the spot of the ball had Peyton Manning thrown the pass. For example, if a quarterback for, say, the Falcons threw a pass to a wide receiver and the player making the catch is tackled somewhere between the 33 and 34 yard line, I would estimate that had Peyton thrown the pass it would be marked on the 36 and one half yard line.

Breakfast: turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch: Catered meeting, probably chicken

Snack:Meat Stix

Dinner: Barbacoa taco insides

Have a great day, all!

Wow, great seats. I can't believe your kids were bored! WTH?!?! The restaurant is on Boylston around the corner from Fenway, called Sweet Cheeks Q -- it is one of Tiffany Faison's places. The biscuits are put on the lists of Boston's best food year after year. I highly recommend a visit when you are in town. They have some pretty amazing BBQ meats too, if you want to pretend you are being protein forward, lol.

hi all

I left here and went to the trial gym. I had a choice between swimming or Zumba like class and opted for the pool. hot tub, ran the pool with water weights, finished again in hot tub. It was relaxing and nice. I walked for 40 min during lunch yesterday also. got home later and ate too many snacks. I was tired eating. weight stayed the same though, only about 150-200 above calories I was going for.

in office again today. need to get gas, some kind of cardio, and lift weights after work so need to determine when and how to get all that done. boss is bringing in Asian chicken and rice so will probably have some chicken but not rice for lunch.

QOTD: got nothing right now other than on a wild animal hunt when I've been driving. so far this past week, deer, 2 black bears, a red fox...

food:

coffee

coffee

water

egg/chicken/veg dish

salad

Asian chicken

not sure on dinner but will be later being home again since I have to work, workout, eat sometime, and drive 2 hours home....

I love that 2 black bears is not exciting for you. Haha, that is a major news story around here. Also we had a fox wandering around the neighborhood last week so I called animal control. He answered the phone with, "If you are calling about the fox, I already know". Apparently I was the 100th caller.
